It's early in the season Mike....under the old rules the season hasn't even started yet. you will probably end with like 32 inches of rain and this will be all the rain me and O get.
Got a smidge of rain at Baseline & Mill...wish we'd have gotten more...might still yet. Lots of thunder & lightning still.
No reain here

Maricopa is getting a good tease and light show. Hopefully it goes straight south and we'll get pounded. The best part of living in Maricopa is that the Monsoon season actually exists down here. No heat shield.
Had some rain in Old Town tonight. Lightning, too.

Looks like we have another good shot at storms tonight, Storm prediction center is thinking about putting up a severe thunderstorm watch. Hopefully everyone gets hit tonight and everyone gets rain.

One huge storm moving down through the east valley, hopefully it will make it through.
I see it all around me but I don't think I'm going to get any.

The east valley storms and cells just fizzled out...maybe we can get an outflow boundry from the storms on the west valley to get something going. Right now looks like tonight was a dud, but that is a good sign for tomorrow night.

Major thunderstorm with high winds happening right now. There is a flood warning until 10:30PM.
I immediately went and looked at the radar. Then I realized you live in Tucson.
The one thing I envy people living in Tucson is the amount of rain you get there during the monsoon.

The monsoon is very active in Tucson thanks to the city being surrounded by mountains. The mountains feed off the moisture and that is one big reason there is a lot of rain in the summer.

I don't know if they are gonna build far enough north off that outflow boundry to hit the Tempe area, but I have my fingers crossed.

Yeah man...they are all bundled just south of me, not sure if they will move or build towards me...I heard thunder and have some wind, but no rain yet.

Okay, I take that back...LOUD crack of thunder out of nowhere...I suspect rain is soon
