Mike, the monsoon season could make for some interesting vbookie weather threads threads once it is released. Rain/no rain on monsoon days, inches of rainfall, 1st day with a below 100 high temp, etc...

I nominate you to start these :)

I take my dog for a walk almost every night or so. Tonight was by far the nastiest night humidity wise.
I don't think I've ever seen his tounge hanging as low as it was tonight.

Seriously though, if it does make it in, you'll probably have a better chance of getting something then I will.

O - no disrespect my man but I believe I ALWAYS have a "better chance of getting something" than you!

As far as the weather goes it looks like some of the storms are trying to form again as they reach the valley. Maybe a chance tonight?

I don't think these will fade...looks like they are building right as they are coming into the valley.

Damn, Tucson got nailed earlier.

Well, as I settle down with my wine and apricot-chipotle-glazed baby back ribs to the annual watching of 'Independence Day,' there is some thunder and lightning approaching N Scottsdale, and the dogs are acting like it may count.

Wow, there is a huge cell over the Ahwatukee and Tempe/Chandler area...I can see it from my house.

Die! :)

Enjoy!

WOW, I didn't resort to that level even last summer when all the storms just seemed to avoid my house. I think you have an anger problem Mike. :D

For the storm blowing up right over my house, not much rain falling yet, but lots of cloud-cloud lightning.

I did have a pretty good summer last year rain-wise :)

Well looks like all the good stuff ended up coming down to my Southwest...blewup over my house but continued moving. Hopefully something else will build to my NNE and come through so we get more rain.
