I cannot believe the massive storm coming in and it's missing me.

I'm guessing we've had about 2" fall the last hour. It's raining sideways and the streets are completely flooded. Pretty harsh here near Power and Southern.

This cell just looks MASSIVE....hopefully it will keep moving a little south of west, if it does that I will get hit hard.

Plus, I've lost satellite signal, so I guess that's a good sign.

Heavy winds in N Scottsdale, a few thunderly rumbles -- the storm front that's been hung up over Yavapai county for a few hours appears to be maybe circling around (KOW) on us, a true monsoon pattern, and if so -- it's humungous. Damn, I hope it rains out here tonight.

Holy hell huge winds....I am loosing branches on trees. Satalite completely out, and the vote in my house is that the satalite is gone...not just trees blocking it.

It's actually the meeting of two storms, one came in from the East, Northeast, and the other from the Northwest.

The Perfect storm!

You CAN lose satellite in these storms because of the thickness of the clouds...

Yeah man, I've been watching them, let's hope so. There is also some development from the main one that could go south, I dunno...

Ya, I was just on the southern fringes of it....didn't get hit too hard too long. Hoping another southern line builds and I get hit again...maybe that is too greedy.

NOT FAIR! Only sprinkled here for a few minutes. Temp dropped about 20 degrees in 30 minutes, which is always fun, nice to open the house up for a bit. There may be more coming, I sure hope -- there seems to be a diminishing lightning-tunder delay period, so I'm hopeful.

I love that -- in my case it's dog on my lap and climbing for my head, all 55 pounds of her. She's uneasy with the lightning and thunder but not freaked yet.

Somewhere in this thread there is a picture of my dog just shivering in the bathtub because of a storm. I'll see if I can find it, it's very funny.

I drove from Mesa to Arrowhead...and it was non-stop pouring the whole way...60 to the 10 to the 101...some of the WORST rain I've ever had to drive through.

I do hope it lets up before morning...and I'm a little concerned because the moving company never called to confirm for tomorrow. I sure hope they show up. If they don't, I swear someone's going to die.

Sprinkling a bit at my house now, looks like it's going to get better soon. It's really starting to develop south of town.
