Sprinkling a bit at my house now, looks like it's going to get better soon. It's really starting to develop south of town.

Yup looking good, hopefully it fills in really solid and its just a huge storm again.

Raining steady here too, but nothing like it was the other night in New Mexico.

Been pouring for an hour now.

Check out this shot of the radar...very rare that you EVER see the entire Valley covered in flash flood watches.

Ya this is really a weird night storm wise....it was really just a rain and wind event for this part of the valley. We only had like 3-4 big lightning strikes, but got a good amount of rain.

After two separate, LONG downpours with the most sideways rain I've ever seen, it drizzled much of the night. The good kind of drizzle that probably filled up our reservoirs some.

Checked the radar and there's even more moisture in their air now than there was yesterday. It's moving back north. I'm guessing those monsoon storms are going to be bigger and develop earlier today. We could just get rain in the meantime. Lots and lots of moisture.

Total this morning is 1.35 inches of rain out at my house in south Chandler. Not too shabby.

It rained for almost the entire night, where the rain meter says 1.5 inches of rain. The rain is tapering off right now but with the sun coming out and the atmosphere very unstable, all of Arizona will have a great shot at thunderstorms developing.

Downtown got 2.15 inches, east mesa got over 3. Incredible.

Hey Heavy, this isnt a bad time for you to crawl up in your crawl space with a Mag light and check for roof leaks and/or water damage. Seriously.

I have gotten monsoon rains for the past 4 evenings.
Currently it is 75 degrees 35% humidity and there is a flash flood watch until midnight.

Lots of storms developing everywhere. They aren't moving much so if you are lucky enough to get one over your house its going to rain a while.
