Not dry, I got sprinkled on! I thought summer came early this month. Maybe fall will be in September instead of late October this year.

I haven't been pounded in a while, I'm overdue.

I read that single men under 30 get pounded more than married guys under 30. However married guys over 30 get pounded way more than single guys.

I guess the amount of rain you get really goes down hill after 30

Unfortunately, I am single and over thirty so, yes, I can attest to that fact.
Yet the guy next door to me is under thirty, single, and seems to get pounded a lot.
It's funny how it can be raining in one place and not another here in Phoenix.
We are talking about rain, right?

:D

It rained most of the day and we had a heavy downpour around lunchtime. It was the most rain recorded on this date ever.

Flew into Sky Harbor and landed around 6:30pm. Got bounced around and beat up by some serious thunderstorms just to the north of the valley. Flight attendant actually got knocked to the ground... it was a bit unsettling. Lots of screaming...

Rained the entire way home from the airport and is still raining @ 10:16pm...

NICE!

So what is going on with the weather? Does this indicate the coming of the apocolypse? My pool was too cold to swim in this weekend, it was 74 degrees.... the outside temp was 68 this morning.

I can't recall the last time it was this mild in June, we're 14 degrees below normal

I am so not complaining, and neither is my garden... well, the melons, maybe, but I am still getting some decent green beans and some chard!

WEEKEND LOOKS GOOD WITH BIT OF DRYING BUT WILL KEEP SLIGHT CHANCES FOR HIGHER TERRAIN EAST OF PHX. WILL BE DIFFERENT STORY EARLY IN THE WEEK AS MODELS SHOW SIGNIFICANT INFUSION OF MONSOON MOISTURE OVER ARIZONA. UKMET SHOWS NEARLY SATURATED AIRMASS OVER WESTERN HALF OF AZ. GFS HAS LIFTED INDEX -2 AND CAPES OVER 1200 G/KG OVER SOUTHWEST AZ TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY SO WE COULD BE LINED UP FOR SOME SIGNIFICANT THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THURSDAY. BOTH GFS AND UKMET SHOW SUBSTANTIAL MOISTURE ACROSS THE ENTIRE STATE OF ARIZONA BY MIDWEEK SO ALL SIGNS POINT TO AN ACTIVE WEATHER WEEK BEGINNING ON MONDAY.

In layman's terms it basically looks like the monsoon could be heating up next week.....hopefully its an active one with lots of rain this summer. Usually the monsoon season prior to an El Nino winter is above average as far as rainfall. Got my fingers crossed.

I got a reading of 115 on my weather station today. I want to get one that hooks up to the internet so I can share my misery with the world

Not that you are wrong or anything, but I'm curious where you have your weather station.

Was only 108 at my house in Chandler, 106 at AZCentral...hard to believe it got to 115 at your house, but not everywhere.
