yep, you're right; Nov 8. I was confusing it with the Packers home game for some crazy reason.

It's all good...we can do the hotel thing :)
I only remembered because that is my wedding anniversary. I can help you find a good hotel. I think I owe you two pizza for something.

Got wind... yup. Got wind. You're what, 2-3 miles from me?
Jeez.

My dog is coming out of her skin! Really close thunder and I've seen 3 cloud to ground bolts!

I'm about a mile north of Pinnacle Peak Rd and about 1/2 mile west of Pima Rd.

I can't figure out how to paste the Wundermap that shows the huge red blob that was essentially erupting right over my house, but is now quickly moving south...

However, there appears to be more storms devloping up by Anthem that appear to be moving in our direction... ;)

The thunder started last night just after nine. Opened the front door to see if there was any rain and it was like a voice was saying, "Come outside and look at this!" Beautiful lightning show high in the sky to the south-east. Overhead were clouds and stars so bright they looked like torches. Winds coming in swoops across the desert. And the smell! Perfume.

I felt like I was the only person on Earth and she was showing me she's living and breathing. Incredible.

I blame our lack of storms on the economy. Everytime O went out of town last year, we got a 30 year storm. He hasn't left once this year and look where we are.

I was in Oklahoma last weekend and nothing happened here so I can't accept total responsibility for the nonsoon.

We got over 7/10 of an inch last night, tons of lightning, wind gust up to 42mph...

Took some lightning shots, you can see more at my weather blog (which rocks!): http://www.haboobing.com/

Here's my favorite:

Rained at my apartment at the 101 and Ray yesterday. I drove to work around 9:45 last night and there was rain on the 101 that I had trouble seeing the lane lines. But as soon as I got up to Elliot it was completely dry.

Looks like its moving in from the west. Can't remember the last time I have seen the summer monsoon storms rotate in from the NW. Hopefully we get some good rain though
