Because all his best football in college was at Edge and all his worst football was at iDL.

Wouldn’t his “ liability” be lessened if we have the balls to go out and get a legit edge and DT?
Do you totally discount his knowledge of this defense? The positioning of players? Calling the defense.

I want White to stay. The so called 3-4 better players available doesn’t mean they will or want to come here. I’m tired of addition by subtraction especially when the “addition” isn’t in place.

If this was true nobody would ever sign a free agent. I think the Cardinals want him back. I think they have made an offer and prob lay asked him to come back and give us the opportunity to match or better the offer.
Understandable that no one is going to offer him 15m but I think 5m is a bit insulting.

Nobody is saying pay him top 5 money. But I still think your underestimating what he does for Rallis and this defense.

I don't think Pappoe is an option to start in inside linebacker. I'm not a huge fan of White, but he is at least a mediocre starting NFL linebacker, which Pappoe is not. Saying this, I don't think there was much of a drop off when Krys Barnes was playing, so I'm not sweating White's possible departure.

$5m or $7m is little difference, anything close to $10m or more is a huge overpay for a completely mid player.

Y'all make me laugh though. Fans here go on about how we have to get better, especially on defense, and are crying out to bring back a guy that would not get starter snaps on roughly 22 teams.
