The Cards couldn't win a game even if they were handed 6 turnovers . . . (see Bears vs. Cardinals :) )

Exactly, the Fiesta Bowl is HUGE for our local economy. The Fiesta Bowl could very easily not stay in Glendale which would make a lot of Glendale companies and citizens very upset. Just another Bidwill coupe

No, they couldn't. The Fiesta Bowl needed the Cardinals every bit as much, if not more, than the Cardinals needed them. The Fiesta Bowl was told they would drop out of the BCS games if they didn't get a new stadium. There would be no new stadium without the Cardinals. Their capital, in the form of loans, was very necessary.

It was such a struggle to get the thing built. You'd think that would've tightened up the relationship between the two organizations.

Well when I heard this first on 910 am, they said that when the contract is up the Fiesta Bowl could go wherever they want. If the Bidwills continue to be a pain the ass, that could very well happen

Where would they go though? Sun Devil stadium obviously wasn't good enough and you can't put it at Chase Field so they really are stuck in Glendale whether the Bidwills change their ways or not.

True, they could always leave the state though. Def a possibility

A real possiblity given that the entire Fiesta Bowl committee is made of local Phoenix residents and businesspeople? It's not leaving Phoenix and it will be in Glendale for a long time.

Where are they going to go? SDS is inadequate. That's out as an option, barring hundreds of millions in upgrades. The Fiesta Bowl was only able to pony up 10 million for construction of the Glendale stadium. ASU's program is financially weak. They asked the state to pony up to improve SDS in an attempt to keep the Cards at one point but it was shot down.

That's not even a possibility. The nearest options would be Southern California (assuming the NFL gets a new stadium there) and Houston. The Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl would pitch a fit over either location.

And UofA isn't getting a new or refurbished football stadium anytime in the near future either which leaves Tucson out of the equation. Fiesta Bowl is stuck here for the foreseeable future unless they want to move to a cold weather climate in which case the BCS would likely drop them.

Stop this!!

The Fiesta Bowl isn't going anywhere. They have one of the nation's premier stadiums in Glendale and they are happier than anyone. They just have to work out their disagreements about suites and signage.

I want to know who's going to apologize and buy my hearing aid after deafening me with the bag pipes. I think my ears are still bleeding.

Jeez, I was just saying what I heard. I don't think the Fiesta Bowl is going anywhere either. However, the Bidwills better keep a good relationship with them or it COULD happen. Crazier things have happened

The bagpipes...how did I forget the squelch of the bagpipes?!?! Out of nowhere, out of the blue and at 120 decibels. I visibly ducked when the bagpipes roared through the speakers...while I tried to lipread what the people on screen were saying.

Apology not accepted.

I'm really shocked that anyone on this board would accept that halfass apology. THE SOUND SYSTEM HAS SUCKED ALL YEAR! You would think the Bidwills would have circled yesterdays date to get it fixed by........... Na, freakin losers

Oh, I'm not happy with the apology. There is just no excuse for what happened.

I'm confused by all of this. They have a problem with the sound system, they apologize, they even give us a link so we can see the finished product as it was intended. The whole time I was watching, I couldn't help but picture the stressed out operator trying to figure out the error while the program was on.

As to the bird being all over the stadium, that was resolved last month. http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-sponsors7nov07,1,6372004.story?coll=la-headlines-sports

Are you Bill Bidwill himself? You constantly defend that inept family, I don't get it? Have you been to a game this year? The sound system has been horrendous all year and they failed to fix it when they needed it the most- The Pat Tillman Tribute. What don't you get about that? All this family does is apologize yet we never see changes

The problem Lloydian is that the Tillman legacy is the BEST thing this team has going for it imagewise. And, they manage to completely butcher that as well. Yeah, I can feel some sympathy for whoever was running the program. But, how can you NOT rehearse this dozens of times so you know exactly how it's going to look and sound in all parts of the stadium?

Geez, all the weeping and wailing. Don't you have anything better to do. It's obvious you're a Sun Devil fan and still have a hard on for the Cardinals because of what happened between the Cards and ASU. We got it. You can quit complaining now. Sheesh!!!
