BEEN WAITING FOR SOME ONE TO START. Anyone listening to the Atlanta game to get info on Vicks injury? I just read the play by play - he was like 1 for 8 passing before he got hurt.

Listening to the pregame and they just said SEVERE ANKLE INJURY

Agreed...Blake looks calm in the pocket.....but we're getting pushed around a bit on both lines

I viewed this game as a gut-check - to see if our first unit could stand up to very physical SD first units on both sides of the ball.

I don't think we succeeded.

Eric Hill observed in post game comments that our defensive tackles were getting velcro'd to blocks and, by not penetrating, were leaving the LB's vulnerable.

Having to rely on Internet Radio, it was impossible to know who was in there while SD was having its way with us. (I assume it was Bryant and Davis).

I think it's time for Marmie to elevate Marcus Bell to the first unit (in place of Davis) or, if he thinks Tanner would make us stouter against the run, move him up next to Wendell.
