let me ask you this... will you actually criticize the Cardinals if they don't pay 12-14M for a top 20 ILB?
The premise was the question if the team should pay White 10M or pay 2-4M extra for a better player.

And you are asking me if I would criticize the team if they do not pay a player at a specific price range and demand Monti to be fired if Sherwood signs for 11.9M or Greenlaw for 14.1M

That is a very weird and oddly specific question?

I have no idea how to answer because I have no idea what your question is about.

lol... in other words, you have nothing to back up anything you're saying, just toeing the company line as usual. For you to act indignant after it was YOU who made the claim that the Cardinals will be upgrading at ILB is comical. How shocking of me to ask you to actually back that up with anything resembling actual evidence?!
You can’t just evaluate White quoting stats. He’s the leader of this defense. He is critical to make certain guys are in the right position. He can slightly reposition guys based on his knowledge of the offenses. He was a big reason why the Cards’ defense was acceptably efficient with not much Pro Bowl content. He helped good players make great plays. He know this defense thoroughly. They got by without a great anchor tackle of a top pass rusher. I don’t know how many ILBs are better; I doubt it’s 7. It’s certainly not 7 in this defense.

16th pick?

Justin Jones & Bilal Nichols are combing for a $20m cap hit. Not sure they’re going to invest big $ on the interior DL. Walter Nolen or Kenneth Grant will likely be there at our pick.

I would definitely put Wagner in there as a better player. Several experts also list raiders’ Daoble as an emerging player ranked ahead of White. That brings us back to 6
Diablo isn’t. Age matters which keeps Wagner out also he re-signed with Washington. Bolton just re-signed with the Chiefs. So now White is a top 4 FA ILB.

Well, Cheese. I, for one, don't criticize our front office too much. I don't know why, but I guess I am just that way. Even if it is not a good move, I don't criticize them too much. I try to support them.SMH.
Go, Cards. :newcards::stick:

Eh, hope you guys soon realize Will Johnson could be the pick if he’s there.

In your opinion that is.

Not in mine and most experts on football sites
This is probably the least informed thing you have said in this thread which is impressive. Deablo’s missed tackle % is like 10% worse, less tackles, and worse QB rating against. He played 32% less snaps.

It’s sad to see someone try to be right so badly instead of admitting they are wrong. You have landed on stating that an ILB with less tackles, less snaps, is a worse tackler, and allows a higher QB rating is the better ILB.

Collins is still here. Room for better players above or below (to succeed Luketa and Dimukeje), but adding more similar players won’t do much for me.

There is room for another interior player.

It is really tough to believe in good faith and not take this as a prickish and condescending comment. Like most everyone on this board, I know how to use the internet.

It is really tough to believe in good faith and not take this as a prickish and insincere comment just because he didn’t succumb to Cheese’s badgering.

Hope not…2022…knee surgery…2023…shoulder hurting him….last year turf toe…add in. The fact he doesn’t have the speed to run with burners and it’s a big no…would much rather have grant or Nolan …pierce and green are off my board lol …mykell Williams and Stewart will probably be gone….wonder if the Boston college kid could be a trade down target? But then there is the Bucs who are said to like him?

Glad Browning was resigned, but this must be viewed as a depth signing and not “we fixed our pass rush” signing. We can most certainly upgrade this position in FA and Draft along with DL. Zero excuses why we can’t start next season with a much improved defensive front
