Starting Clark is a mistake. He better keep his head on and not do anything stupid...he is the weak link. Prove me wrong Clark...PLEASE

He's hoping that Findley's speed can get past King & Terry, neither of whom are that quick.

The threat of Findley's speed might be enough to keep them from getting forward as much as they might, I can see his reasoning although I think both Buddle and Gomez have shown a knack for getting in the right spots and putting their shots on goal. Tough decisions I guess.

yeah..findley/buddle/gomez was a tough call. I think bradley went with pace over finishing because of findley's ability to get behind and stretch england. buddle and gomez are much like altidore....however findley will be off if he is not productive.

clark?? oh my...i never have liked him. going face to face with the likes of gerrard and lampard really scares me. I think clark will be doing a lot of watching which will not be good. I hope I'm wrong, but that is my thought. Hopefully torres and holden get a opportunity.

Then you have spector in the back...who is there. I don't like demerit, but I guess bradley feels demerit is his best option. One thing I will say about demerit is that he won't lose because of lack of confidence. If anything his temperment might come in handy today, but he needs to not cross the line and do anything stupid.

Oneywu will have to prove that he is ready. this is not austrailia. this is england...he WILL be tested early and often. If he is not up for it the USA will pay.

Clark is the right decision. Torres and Edu are better players, but we need to clog up the midfield. Clark is the best option for that.

I haven't seen Clark play a good entire match in a year. His distribution has been terrible in every friendly he has played in recently. Edu has more defensive bite and can get involved in the offense too. I also worry about him making a rash challenge like he did last year in the Confed Cup.

Don't underestimate the familiarity of the Bradley-Clark pairing. They've played the most together and Bob Bradley knows what he's getting. I think that's important. Conversely, for all their talent the Lampard/Garrard combination has struggled to coalesce in the midfield together.

Just my opinion. I certainly understand your viewpoint.

How Clark could lose Gerrard like that is beyond me.

It'd be nice if Findley could stay onside, he's been off twice already.

I am really pleased with how we are controlling the ball...... Hopefully it pays off.

***** is really proving his worth on set pieces right now. Hopefully he is fit enough for the long haul.
