maybe but to me it says that his teammates didn't have much respect for him or his skills or leadership, and they spend much more time with him than any of us do

Do you always jump to conclusions in your life? This is serious deep end type of stuff.

I'm sick

Matt can't lower himself to DD's level, MNF crew and other want to see Matt mad, Whiz wants to see him mad, I don't I want to see Matty happy and in a healthy enviroment. I like the water off the duck interview, but its getting to him, pounce goes the reporter " Asking how dare Matt go 10-13 in 2 preason games without a score? How can you be confident? "

Matty's taking the blame for having the 2nd best RB on the team going backwards while starting! For a starting WR not getting past the line to gain on 3rd down and not able to muscle the extra half yard! An Oline that started 30+ games together being shuffled after 2 playoff runs and a Super Bowl. For a coach that calls a bomb on 3rd and 1 to a starting undrafted free agent WR for the 3rd 3 and out of a 2nd preseason game.

Matt wanted go for it on 4th down, do you remember that! but no that might actually be the umpteenth miserable mistake by Whiz in a row!
Matts not the problem with this team. Matt's the solution.

DD needs to open his mouth and swallow the Titans whole or shut up.
He is famouss for his mouth, disappears most of the season lookl at his tackles and sack numbers? He works hard will disrespect his team and team mates on a moments notice, be too stupid to know that taking a shower on the internet as an AZ cardinal might be a problem, fake injuries, hold out from camp just last year, DD had 9 sacks and pro bowl in 07, 4 in 08 (3in the SB) and 7 last year and wants Reggie White Money. I would follow Reggie White to damnation!

If Matt follows DD's lead I'll disown him. unsportsman like Thug! no respect for anyone including himself, well maybe except Joe porter, He has respect for Porter. But DD is not a leader of men, as an old soldier I know what leadership is and I've been lead down a toilet or 2.

I don't post on this forum much (although read it nearly everyday) but freebyrd you really need to put the bottle down. Everything will be OK.

You not a glass half empty type of guy. You're a glass completely empty and smashed on the floor, then all the pieces swept up and put in the trash to be taken to a landfill site, only on the way the truck carrying the broken glass crashes and the drivers dies type of guy.

To be honest.. When it happened.. I actually thought to myself that these guys really liked Leinart..

That is the way everyone in my house took it. We all thought it was pretty cool that guys were making the situation a little less stressful. It was clear Matt was upset so maybe they just wanted to give him a giggle.

yea

It was no big deal. but it would be nice to see DD put that energy into defense and actuually slow down the opposing offense one in awhile. you know in the playoffs or something! man there has to be a happy medium.

last week after the Houston Game on TV Antonio Smith was hugging CC. DD set on the outskirts snagged Smiths Houston hat off his head threw it on the ground and smeared it into the turf! and then CC lost his smile and looked ashamed. DD walked off defiantly. maybe its just me but I don't respect that all of the time.

KW and others, I don't know of a Hoffer that acted like that all the time? do you?

I don't understand how you came up with that.

they don't respect him therefor they don't play hard for him which will equal a terrible start
they do respect him and all the monkie shines are meaningless then they have confidence play hard for him he responds to their confidence and his confidence increase's and the team gels then i'm wrong

so at its simplest formula of a complex understanding of the human condition

4 and 0 would mean i was wrong
0 and 4 would mean i was right

You honestly think that if you agree that people would risk their job and career to not play hard? Whisenhunt for the most part has shown that people that don't play well, don't play. No one on the Cards is willing to do that.

0 and 4 would mean i was right

I'd say either way, you linked two completely different ideas.

Last week while Ryan Matthews was interviewing on the sideline on a CBS broadcast, the starting Guard was squirting him with water the entire intervew. Based on this logic, he has Zero respect for Ryan Matthews.

I think too many of us are channeling our inner Dr. Phils and are doing a very bad job at it...

I don't care what anyone says that's disrespectful to someone who is supposed to be the leader of your team
and yeah anderson was making a face behind matt like he smelled something bad

you all have forgotten what the dark side was like,I think were about to revisit it once again
the one thing I have faith in thank god is the front office now that jr took over and our coaching staff

they'll get this straightened out of that I have no doubts
but fasten your seatbelts this year may be a bumpy ride

Get a grip!

you bet, on an unconscious level be it an nfl defensive tackle or the high school janitor if you don't like your leader you do not work as hard and you aren't even aware of it,
if you are a leader of men or woman you are taught this

why do you think that such a common phrase in the nfl is X.Y.Z. player is so good he raise's the level of players around him?

but what these talking heads don't understand is it goe's both ways the level of play of X.Y.Z. player has a direct correlation to the respect and confidence and admiration he feels from his supporting cast

Maybe on an unconscious level. Who knows what goes on when you've been knocked for a loop.

You're still grasping at straws. No one, not even Ken Whisenhunt has said that Matt hasn't worked hard. In fact, they go out of their way to do the opposite.

Because his play is so good, it puts other players in positions to make plays or minimize mistakes. It isn't just a saying.

Huh?

He meant that you used the wrong word. Subconscious is the word you were looking for.

You do know, I was looking for a place to hide in shame once he thanked me? My only saving grace was that he didn't realize I was being a sarcastic jerk, but hey, thanks for clearing that up for him.:D

I couldn't let you off the hook with that.

(plus you needed credit for your sarcasm, because it was damn funny)
