Nice breakdown. I think 8-8 is possible, if not probable. I think the one thing that saves us is that we can simply outscore a lot of these teams, like the Bengals have done in recent years. Our defense won't shut many, if any, teams down so the offense will have to be stellar.

9-7 Sounds reasonable.

They could split home/home with SFO, if so, it's 8-8.

They could also find stopping the run vs PIT hard, 7-9.

They could also have trouble winning 2 road games in a row, 6-10.

Atlanta could have their act together by week 17 and the Cards could
lose 5-11.

They could find a way to win the DET game, 6-10.

So, 6-10 is probably what happens as long as no more OL or LB injuries.

The Cards don't have a prayer against CIN, BAL, or NOS (they are who we thought they were).

A QB injury for Seattle could give the Cards the 2nd Seattle game.

I think we are good enough to go 9-7 looking at the schedule. But if I expect/hope for that I'll only be disappointed, I've been burned too often by this team to think otherwise. Interesting, realistic I'd say but on the pessimistic side but still the only game I'd question much is the Detroit loss, however that's actually possible thinking about it.

They're going to throw a lot and that's probably bad for us.

It's tough to do these as teams change year on year, who you think will be easy isn't and the tough teams may not be.

Again though I think it's realistic just hope you're of a few games and honestly it could go either way, tough to tell and that's why they play the games.

I got 10-6...Although I'll believe it when I see it. I think that first game could be our toughest of the year with all of the emotion the Niners have going into that game. That game is not going to be good times.

I'd be estatic with 5-3 at the bye as the first half is MUCH tougher than the second half of the year.

I honestly can't see any more than 8 wins at best for this team. And getting to that number will take a HUGE amount of luck - something this team knows not of - and some out of this world play by Leinart...
We are so exposed in so many ways... No depth, no pass defense... Questionable run defense. Questionable running game. Players playing out of position on defense...
I can easily see this team winning equal to or less games than last season.
Fitz & Q will do what they do... Leinart will get beat up, stumble but make some incredible plays... Edge will get his barely-more-than 1,000 yards... And I think Whiz and Grimm will show that they have the stuff to eventually turn this thing around and one day produce more W's than L's... This season just ain't it... yet...

They're more talented than they were and they have tons of defensive talent and as such I think our rivalry will get intense, however I think we're keeping ahead of them still.

They have holes on offense like we do on defense.

Our games should be good and I bet we put on a good show on MNF, in fact them rising up along with us would do wonders for our national image, they're the division royalty, if we lock horns with them over the years that's probably how we get more national tv exposure.
