If they put the Suns and Dbacks on an OTA channel I wouldn’t need to pay for any service.

Did u put one on the rooftop?

I am using an amplified one indoors and having decent success with it.

I'm out of range for any antenna reception. I've checked it several times. The same for my neighbors. I'm going to have to get Suns reception on DirecTV or stream it.

It's tough living in the boondocks. :D

I am in Bullhead City. Not exactly the most media intense location. :)

It's a factor but I don't really think that's a huge part of the equation anymore. Once cable and then satellite came along, the need to bring broadcast TV to areas that didn't have it started going away. So if you live someplace that warranted it prior to the early 80's you're probably in great shape. But if you live someplace that was a small farming community back then but now has a quarter million people, you might be out of luck. As I am.

Really? I would have thought that Riverside County would be treated better.

The city of Riverside has been around for awhile so they're in good shape. We're just over a hill from there and even rooftop antennas (the best available) are useless for us. But 35 years ago, Moreno Valley didn't even exist. It was one small community that merged with two farming areas that then had a big population explosion. And again, it was after cable swept through the country.

Oh! Having been raised in various suburbs in northern New Jersey, then the past 40 years in the NE Phoenix suburb of the Paradise Valley area, I assumed that Moreno Valley would benefit from being in the proximity of Riverside and San Bernardino (which has, BTW, my favorite California Italian restaurant, Alfredo's Pasta on W. Baseline St.). I love their baked capellini (angel hair pasta) with meat sauce.

Fox Sports AZ's website doesn't have anything about the Suns trade from last night. They have the Dbacks beating the Dodgers story from yesterday, but the last two articles about the Suns on there are the Dudley trade and the Suns Dancer finals. LOL

Wow! That's a game changer if it happens. There goes my need for Sling. I wonder if it would be part of Prime or a separate add-on. If separate, I wonder what the price would be as I would only want FSAZ.

Does Prime currently have live sports? I’ve not noticed and I’m a Prime member as well.
Last year they had live NFL Thursday night games but I don’t think they currently have anything.

If it goes the way everything else has on Amazon, it will start out as part of Prime and then become a paid add-on channel to Prime. That's the bad news, the good news is most of the add-on channels are reasonably priced.

That will affect me, too, eventually. Direct has been broadcasting almost every game so far. Interestingly, I called Direct a couple of times and asked them about the Suns broadcast plans. No one I talked to had any idea - they looked at the same shedule I did, which is only a couple of weeks in advance.

I imagine it will be a year or two after any acquisition be for any changes are made to broadcasting.

I'm counting on DirecTV to continue carrying it as well.
