:D

You had me all the way up until Frisco and Indy, I'm left wondering why those 2 destinations might be better than the other 20+ football cities?

San Fransisco - Harbaugh was the Stanford coach when Jonathan Martin played there.

Indy - Andrew Luck's LT in college was Jonathan Martin. He may put in a good word for him.

That is why I say those two places.

@ProFootballTalk: Report: Incognito sent threatening and racial voice mails and texts to Martin http://wp.me/p14QSB-9k6c

Wow!

Now that is not bullying. That is being a bigot.

Completely unacceptable.

At this point Jonathan Martin may not do anything about the situation, but someone else may.

Richie I. sounds like he is Thumb Thuggin', too.

Sounds like Richie is a bully through and through. Most NFLer's are aggressive alpha males. Maybe Martin isn't. Maybe he is more passive, a gentle giant.

I bet old Richie honed in on this and viewed it as a weakness to be exploited over and over again. Kept going back to that well because he had his perfectly passive little victim.

Martin could've probably solved this with a haymaker. Instead he threw a fit. I am sure Incognito is in the wrong, but I don't know if his teammates will see it that way.

Interestignn you bring up parenting when it seems to me that Martin is the only one who was raised right. He smartly turned the other cheek when being harassed and threatened by two really bad human beings.

He was being "bullied" by Incognito (basically the dirtiest player in the NFL with a history of assaults both off and on the field) and Mike Pouncey (best friends with Aaron Hernandez). If my co-workers were those dudes and they were all over me I'd run for the hills too. But perhaps you're right and Martin should have fought back. After all what's the worse that can happen facing off against those types of characters?

Ask Oden Lloyd...

Incognito needs to be arrested. As does the other Dolphins named, if allegations are verified.

Funniest thing in this thread is you "be a man" internet tough guys who would be pissing themselves if you were in the same situation. You wouldn't say anything, not because you are brave but because you would be afraid of the blow back. Seems to me that Martin did the hard thing, expose himself to ridicule and public scrutiny to do the right thing.

Most that complain about "being a man" are the 1st to sue when they get punched in the face.

NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

Not in today's society. Just walk away.

Time to find a new team, IMO.

Wow.....just....wow.

Among the texts are at least one instance in which Incognito refers to the biracial Martin as a “half-n****r”. La Canfora added: “There are several instances of threats as well, the sources said, and overall disturbing exchanges, including one in which Incognito refers to defecating in Martin’s mouth.”

Sounds to me like Incognito would fit right in to the prison population.

Seems like a very large problem and not singular to Martin;

Just got off the road, and saw Schefter's report on the $15,000 allegedly gotten from Martin for a trip to Vegas.

I can now report this: This is a HUGE issue inside the Dolphins' locker room, and not just limited to this situation.

Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley

One young defensive player, whose privacy I'm protecting, has literally gone broke because he's been pressured to pay for older players.

Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley

They've gotten sucked into the Miami lifestyle, and the veterans are using the younger players as an ATM, I'm told.

Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley

Recently, a younger player was handed the tab for a $30,000 team dinner. The rookie minimum this year is around $400.000.

Some are living paycheck to paycheck, I've heard -- and having to pay for their teammates' spending habits has not helped.

Incognito also made reference to tracking down members of Martin's family and harming them.

Over the line.

I could say more but it would be wildly inappropriate for a P.C. world.

I don't care how big someone is, they threaten my family and their knees would meet my bat at some point if they didn't knock it off.

Agreed. Reginald.

My bat would have a nail at the end of it.
