I'm mixed about Jackson. But if the Cards want him they will have to take him at #15. He most likely will go in the mid first round as too many teams need qbs.

Has good chance to be selected at 11 (dolphins)

Just a gut feeling, but this draft has the vibe of having an "honest" 1 -15 board.

There may be "surprises" as to which team drafts who in the top 14, but few if any surprises as BPA's come off the board.

On offense, the 4 QB's, Barclay, Chubb and Nelson are locks. On defense, Vea, J. Smith, Edmunds and Fitzpatrick seem like sure cinches.

That leaves 3 less certain top 14 prospects. Likely to be drafted - Ridley, McClinchey, Davenport, Ward. (Outside possibilities: Hernandez, Vander Esch, Price, Payne, one or two corners). L Jackson is probably the most hard-to-predict at #15. He could go here/he could go later.

No doubt each of you have a couple of sleepers I've overlooked, but that's how I think the top 14 wil generally fall, with the Cards taking the top remaining dude on their 120 List.

BA a strong supporter of drafting LJ:

If he is there at #15 and is the BPA on the Card's draft board, look for SK to take him. That would be a 'one-pick' gamble.

Ravens might be a sleeper team to move on LJ. If he shows anything to the Ravens brass, they could do the Chief's move and let Flacco go as a salary cap issue and insert LJ in 2019.

I'm in the screw it, draft Jackson camp.

At least it creates some excitement about what had become a boring team.

I am wandering thought the tents of a lot of screw it camps right now and like what I see. Jackson is electric and can excel in the modern NFL, screw it and select him at 15. Mayfield and Rosen have the look of franchise QBs, screw it and move up if they slide. Rudolph is solid and could be the best of the bunch, trade down into round one or stay and select him. Lauletta has great footwork, sufficient arm strength and can read a defense, screw it and trade back into round one and take him. Screw it is the motto for this draft and hope Keim gets it right... but he better make a damn move before round three, willing to support any of those scenarios, or it will be the first time I will not watch a draft all the ways through and be totally pissed off :)

I don’t think Jackson will be there at 15.

If we want a QB it looks like Round 2 or later.

All these QBs going early should push down a decent BPA to us at 15.

I would almost bet anything he will still be on the board at 15

So one OC states his opinion concerning Jasckson and that`s supposed to be gospel.********.Several other teams execs, coaches, assistant coaches have stated otherwise. So this is just more clickbait disinformation right before the draft. Why not start a yapping about Mayfields idiotic drunken behavior and Rosens durability issues and Josh Allen being able to throw the football thrru a barn if he could just only hit it,Spread the trash around people .

Lamar Jackson on that whole mom-as-manager controversy: “She’s my manager for life!”

Guaranteed they won’t trade up for him. This is would also be a pick for when Bill leaves. Josh loves to draft dual threat QBs (I.e. Tebow).

So Keim will pass on him for some project player and the Pats will take him and thrive for another 10 years. :bang:
Most of the QBs they have drafted as backup/heir apparent to Brady have not been very good...they jury is still out on Jimmy G, too, but he may end up being the exception.

If you are drafting late into the draft, there is no way in hell you let guys know who you want. Patriots like one thing, extra picks... so let's tell everyone we want him so you feel compelled to trade into the first round with us for a QB and not the Eagles, right :)

It's all just BS, did an OC really said that, or is it just click bait? I mean why would he unless they are lying and trying to get him to drop to them. I mean if you really thought he couldn't play wouldn't you be hyping him as the next Mike Vick? Try and get one of the other teams to draft him if you think he sucks. I don't take anything I hear seriously this time of year. I like to formulate my own opinion and I stick with it. In my opinion LJ will be the best of the lot, I said it around last September-November and I'm sticking to it.
