That is it for the Cavs. Not enough support for LeBron.

I'm wondering if Lebron will try to play PG. I thinking this would give the Cavaliers the best chance to win the series. Sort of a Magic Johnson moment when he plays center for the Lakers.

Shuffle-traveling happens so frequently that I can't imagine how the officials decide whether or not to call it. The funny thing is that someone can score on a shuffle-travel, they'll replay it in slow motion and show it a dozen times while the commentators ooh and ahh about what a great move it was, and no one once says "Well, he got away with a little travel there."

But shuffling feet after a jump stop? That's pretty egregious.

That's what I'm saying. That type of travel happens all the time and is rarely called. NBA refs, at times, are notorious for swallowing whistles late in games and not wanting to determine the outcome with a dicey call. So, deciding to call it in such a huge moment, taking away a bucket with about 30 seconds left, was weird. Yes, it was without a doubt a travel. But, it was still a very surprising call to be made at that time in the game.

Like I said in my previous post, I'll try to keep an eye out for it the rest of the series but THAT type of travel generally does not happen, and if it does I expect it gets called far more often than not.

Most travels do get over looked, but he took steps, then did a jump stop, then "pivoted" in the loosest sense of the word given that he had no pivot foot and moved both feet anyway. I don't think guys even try that type of move because its so blatantly illegal. And that the Warriors had him bascially trapped, he needed to go straight up or pass out and they defended as such, to then spin out of the double team, the ref HAS to call that.

Fair enough. I will also watch for it. It's not something I've really thought about or paid attention to before last night. So, it will give something else to entertain myself with as the Warriors inevitably win this series.

I find this a strange argument.

If the others weren't called it doesn't make this one any less of a travel. It was pretty blatant.

It is, what makes it controversial is they missed so many other ones.

He's played the role of the PG even with Irving anyway. Kyrie isn't as good as getting teammates involved and passing as LeBron even when healthy.

Gonna need to find a better replay, but looked like Mozgov picked up his pivot foot twice on 2 different plays in the 1st half that didn't get called.

Edit: They showed this one in the broadcast, haven't found the 2nd I saw - http://streamable.com/x6f7

Not sure what's worse, Speights missing a breakaway dunk, or Iguodala giving it to him when he could have gone down and dunked himself.

Warriors are shooting so badly tonight it's unreal. They're lucky to even be close

He did, but he's sure played a great game again.

LeBron got bumped by pretty much every Warrior on the court there, but he HAS to make that shot.

The thing is all that contact is because he's leaning in and that's why they didn't call it IMO.

The refs are atrocious. God really does hate Cleveland.
Edit: did not see the travel before that. Refs are still atrocious.

It was but as Van Gundy said he walked before the foul.

He changed pivot feet

you got an excuse for Green fouling LeBron on the jump ball also? That was complete and utter BS.

And that call was BS also. JR went straight up and Curry leaned into him.

Lebron's shoulders are too big, they got in the way. Not really straight up though. Jumped towards Curry just like Curry jumped into him.

they were both going for the tip, there's no possession there so hitting a guys hand on a jump ball is NOT a foul. Grabbing it is, like he did in the tip at teh start of OT, but on that tip it's not a foul they're both going for the ball.

I loved Van Gundy complaining about the jump in when James did it he said definitely a foul

am I missing something how was that blocked shot not GSW ball? Green blocked it, the ball was still in James' hand and it went out of bounds. Did someone else touch if after Green? I don't think so because they ruled possession.

BS. He didn't "hit Lebron's hand"... He PULLED down his arm to keep Bron from going up.

How does LeBron miss that?

holy cow... UNBELIEVABLE WIN.

okay... you've lost all objectivity. a warrior then saved the ball and threw it back into play when it went out of bounds near the scorer's table.
