BS. He didn't "hit Lebron's hand"... He PULLED down his arm to keep Bron from going up.

How does LeBron miss that?

holy cow... UNBELIEVABLE WIN.

I watched it twice unless there's another angle, he high fived him up at the top going for the ball. He pulled down Thompson's hand at the start of the OT but i didn't see it on the LeBron one.

Still puzzled on that blocked shot. I must have missed the end of the play did another Warrior grab it and then go out of bounds?

I know he struggled, but I'd have preferred for Curry to keep the ball and take the shot instead of trying that difficult pass.

okay... you've lost all objectivity. a warrior then saved the ball and threw it back into play when it went out of bounds near the scorer's table.

no I didn't see the play live, on the replay they didn't show the end of it so I saw a ball going out off LeBron. Didn't see the save, thus my next post asking if that's what happened.

He had a terrible game, I agree he probably should have kept it.

So many what ifs, if Speights doesn't blow the dunk.

Pretty impressive win by Cleveland though, great defense

Disastrous game, but I want the MVP to force it and go down shooting.

LeBron is just sick. Missed 23 shots and still got an easy triple double.

This has been the best NBA finals since the Lakers-Celtics days.

Whew. Big win for the Cavs! :)

I still think the Warriors win the series though.

He's a remarkable player, if you replace him with just say Kevin Love, Cleveland isn't even close to the finals

I missed the boat on this game, I think I missed the ocean.

Cavs showed a lot of balls to be able to get it back together for the overtime. But I don't think the Warriors play that horribly again.

Warriors kept chucking and chucking. They should have gone with more pick and rolls.

Cavs played tough. Mosgov tore em up inside. LeBrat was still a cry baby but gets the win.

Warriors got hosed on a lot of calls though.

This Cavs team as it stands, aside from Lebron, is so damn untalented. Three of these dudes are former Knicks, for Christ's sake! It is a small miracle that this series is tied and Cleveland now has home-court advantage.

that's their offense though, usually they make more than 8-35 on 3's

The Cavs have a weird team, we're already assuming they'll keep Thompson over Love, now you have to wonder abut the long term status of Kyrie? it's blatantly obvious how much better they are on defense without him. Been the same both series now.

LeBron is so good if you put good defenders around him who can make the occasional 3, wins you lots of games.

Well, all I wanted was a great series. Now, it has a chance to be that and this afternoon I thought the Cavs would MAYBE win one game in Cleveland and push it to 5.

But, now I know I'm going to root for the Warriors winning the next 3 straight. LBJ doesn't need to be worshipped at a higher level than he already is.

Well, Irving's injury was weird to say the least. Normally, you fall on the patella directly to break it. Yet, they are claiming that Thompson's collision with him broke it. Yet, on the the replay, Thompson hits the side of Irving's knee but Irving fractures his patella so bad he needs surgery to put it back together. Than means somehow his tendons pulled the patella apart.

He's going to get the best care possible, but that knee could easily bother him the rest of his life.

Or he had a hairline fracture or stress fracture already. I suspect he was compensating for the pain he already had in the knee and putting a ton of strain on his patella and quad.

But I suspect the surgery was probably to stabilize it, not to piece it back together. If he broke it clean through he would have been in agony and they would have taken him off on a stretcher.

One medical site had this to say:
If the fracture is not displaced and the extensor mechanism is intact, the fracture may be treated by means of immobilization. This usually involves placing the affected extremity in a cylinder cast for 4-6 weeks. The patient is allowed to bear weight in the cast.

Extensive rehab follows that, they said.

If the break is worse than that then they probably have to surgically repair it.

One of the big issues the Warriors have is they get a stop and Thompson either gets the OR, or they call a foul on the Warriors blocking him off. after the game locally last night they said and don't quote me stats from memory, he has 15 OR's in 2 games, and the Warriors have been called for EIGHT fouls blocking him off.

THey gotta find a way to either keep him off or block him out so he gets over the back calls, he's been called twice over the back all series, what they're doing now is not working.

Welcome to playoff basketball Warriors. You are very lucky that you are not down 0-2.

BTW I've now seen the replay of what Green did on the jumpball, yes he used the left hand to pull down while reaching with the right. I was looking up top and didn't see that initially.

Can they actually call a foul on that or is it just possession since it's a jump ball I don't honestly know. But he did it twice so they clearly gotta look at that.
