2nd week in a row a fumble cost Aaron Rodgers a chance to pull a rabbit out of his hat. Aaron Jones ( not Rodgers) fumbles and destroys Packers good looking series. Patriots go on a 14 point 4th quarter run to seal the game post fumble. Ty Montgomery was banished after his gaffe last week. Jones has to be nervous.

Mike McCarthy is destroying this Packer team. Still runs the Brett Favre / Bill Walsh offense with , arguably the GOAT QB. Letting Jordy Nelson, Rodgers security blanket was idiotic. Bunch of rookie WRs who can't
separate to save their ass, while Rodgers does his magic act buying time waiting for one of these clowns to do something.

Patriots meanwhile, trot out Cordarelle Patterson who ends up being the leading rusher and Josh Gordon torches secondary. Brady is genius and B B game plans wins. No Gronk. No Sony Michele. Yet they still put up 30+. Good luck AFC beating Pats to S B.

Also...bad (blotched call by the refs) penalty on the Packers for running into the kicker. Should've only been a 5 yarder but refs gave it a 15 yarder and auto first down thus allowing NE to score a touchdown. Pat's still sure get a lot if referee favortism.

Actually, the Patriots still ended up pointing on that series after getting 7 more yards after the penalty. The Packers them fumbled on their ending drive.

Question, how many other coaches would even think about using Cordarelle Patterson as a running back? Patterson looked good running the ball last night. These are the types of things that separate the Patriots from other teams, the innovation and unique game plans Belechick comes up with. The lateral to Edelman and then the throw to White was a brilliant play. White and the linemen played it like they were a decoy going half speed duping the GB defense. That play sealed the game. The throw to White from Edelman was across the entire field. I'm not a Patriot fan however I respect the way they can find a way to win and a way to suck the most talent out of all their players.

One thing we were given yesterday was the chance to watch two great games, Saints/Rams and Packers/Patriots. Being able to watch three of the greatest QBs (Brady, Rodgers, Brees) of our times was nice to see.

I thought It was a good call, only because the rusher hit the plant foot/leg. That is part of what constitutes a 15 or a 5. It was close, but I agreed with the call on the field. I hate the Packers tho so I could have been swayed... :lmao:

I think he hit the plant foot/leg also. That's why the 15 yarder. As was said before though, the Pats ended up punting anyway. It really didn't cost the Packers. The late fumble was the absolute killer.

Watching these games underscores how far away THE Cardinals are from having a good not great team.

It also underscored how much a coach can influence a team. Payton, McVay, and Bellichick are 10 steps ahead of the league and 35 ahead of Wilks.

I don’t like the Saints, but man is their offense fun to watch.

That call wasn't even close either.

Didn't the Chargers use Rod Bernstein as a running back?
