Got nothing but love for Urlacher. I still remember 13 years ago screaming at the TV to draft the kid from New Mexico at #7. Instead we get Thomas Jones...ugh. At least Urlacher never broke his hand "reaching for the phone". Urlacher and Brady were by far the best players out of that draft.

Congrats on a great career.

To be honest, Jones had a pretty good career after he left here. And Brady was a compensatory pick. Yikes.

I've ran into him a couple of times in south Chandler. I'm guessing he will be spending a lot more time here now.

Great player and yes he should have been a Cardinal. :bang:

I remember the draft...lot's of people wanted Brian U over TJ. TJ was a productive RB, but not for us.

It's funny because I remember the draft listening to it on radio and how very little was on the internet at the time. Shoot NFL.com I don't think was even up yet.

A waiter once gave him my table at a Chicago steak house. Didn't even care that he just walked in and they showed him to the table I had waited 30 min to get.

The Cards would have kept Urlacher at safety or something anyway.
