Green Meat!! I never heard it either, but a friend of mine wouldn't stop saying it at my wedding. He went to Brophy, and I got married at St. Mary's Church. I think it has something to do with the rivalry. I thought you might recognize it. That, or my friend is just a *******, which is most likely the case.

Almost Greenway...but moved to Oregon:

Roseburg Senior High School, Roseburg, Oregon
Class of 1993:thumbup:

Home of the Indians

Our claim to fame is being 8 minutes from the high school (Douglas High, Winston, OR) of the following NFL players:

Troy Polamalu (#1 pick of Steelers)
Josh Bidwill (yes, it's Bidwill), P for Green Bay Packers

We had a dude get cut by the Patriots in '93 or '94, I think.

Probably the latter :)

Funny thing was I went to Brophy and I ended up getting married at St. Mary's. I wonder if that was the reason why I ended up gettting divorced :D

Ah, those were the days. I played when we still had to play at Chandler High. Now I guess they have their own field. Anybody who's had to take the bus to play Ray or Superior deserves a medal. 2A Football rules!

...in the shadow of Purdue University...

We only had 185 in my graduating class, but two of my classmates are border-line celebrities.

1. Danny Johnson: an actor out of NYC, has had numerous roles in television shows - NYPD Blue, Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, etc. Also, he played Larry Holmes in the HBO movie "Don King: Only In America" with Ving Rhames.

Danny Johnson

2. Ellen K: Rick Dees' sidekick on KIIS FM in Los Angeles. Has posed in many magazines, including Playboy. Has produced a couple of fitness videos as well. There are billboards of her all over L.A. Weird.

I used to have to work after school to pay for the tuition, so I didn't get to play hoops. But I did take stats for them, and I was on many a bus ride to Winkleman, Ray, Kearny and Superior...you are right, those were fun times.
