I’d have to go back and check the records at the time. I remember being really excited about that game and was on the edge of my seat the whole time because you could tell early one big play could be the difference in the game.

Edit: I just looked it up.. Seattle was 4-1 and we were 3-3.. so it was basically a must win for us and was a bloodbath the entire game. It obviously didn’t turn out to be a good season, but it was a pivotal game at the time. I recall at least one player saying it was the most physical game they ever played in.

We started the season 1-3, beat two terrible teams (Jets and Washington?) and we all tried to talk ourselves into the Cardinals being back and that was the measuring stick game… and we pissed away every chance to put it away.

That made us 3-4 and then we just scuffled along the way the rest of the year.
