I'm so impressed by Archie today. That breaking ball is positively nasty and he is commanding that high heat everytime he needs to. I've believed in his potential since I first saw him in Spring Training so hopefully this is the beginning for this kid.

I would love to see him stay in the rotation for the rest of the year.

Omg that inning was just beautiful. I know it's the Padres but they still have some good, major league hitters and Archie is freakin dominating out there.

Mixed feelings about the hook there. In a way id have loved to see him face Atleast 1 more better and see how he reacts but on the other hand he has pitched so phenomenally and we need the win so get him out while he's still had a great day and put it on the bullpen.

In the end probably the correct move by Chip

Took a home series... That's not a typo!!
Great outing by Archie. Is it me though, or is it strange to see him only top out at 92/93mph? He just looks like a guy who should be tossing 95-98mph!
Nonetheless, that has to be his best outing in the bigs!
