well, we got swept by the phillies... soo...if we lose the series at home to the lowly Padres, I don't know how anyone from the coaching staff can still have jobs...

I (unhappily) posted a comment about our starting pitchers (except Greinke) giving up 4 runs in 5 innings every game. So Miller gives up 5 runs in 4 innings. My Lord Miller was looking good and then a total tank job. 4-5 and maybe more. Ace to a 5 run inning?

A record of 2-8 with an ERA of 6.85. Is that the best the D-backs can do for a #2 pitcher?
He came here with a history of not knowing how to win games and is true to form. With a horrible ERA.
This trade is going to cost someone their job.
This team needs an emima.

Who was the guy that just had to have Miller? Was it LaRussa? This trade is going to cost someone their job.
Granted the Miller trade looks like a disaster now but I'm guessing they thought they were getting the guy who posted a 3 ERA last year, not the 7 ERA guy this year.Who was the guy that just had to have Miller? Was it LaRussa?
Somebody just had to have this guy when everybody on earth said he was mediocre at best.
And they were so desperate about it that the Braves bent them over hard.
At this point I tihink Miller's presence is totally demoralizing for the team. Is it just me or did it seem like the entire team got a lift when he was on the DL?

But there were all sorts of red flags surrounding this trade.Granted the Miller trade looks like a disaster now but I'm guessing they thought they were getting the guy who posted a 3 ERA last year, not the 7 ERA guy this year.
