There is no way we would have drafted Peyton. At that point, people still thought Jake was the next Montana. He did take us to the playoffs the next year. We would have traded with someone if we had the 1 that year, and it would have been an even more lopsided deal than what we got at the time from San Diego.

Of course, we wouldn't have drafted Peyton, but could you imagine how much better we would be with Manning at the helm. Those are the situations that keep this franchise DOWN.

But that is exactly what your point was about the Falcons game - it wouldn't have made that much of a difference back then.

He called Josh a "yahoo", and went on to say that the Panthers should be ashamed of being down to the Cards. Something like that.

The refs just gave carolina 5 yrds on a spot mistake.

At least the Cards forced the punt.

There have been some good run blocking plays this game... but for the most part the pass blocking has been piss poor.

The original call was that the reciever went out of bounds inside the 1. But his foot hit the pylon, which is inbounds, so they reviewed the play and it was reversed to be a touchdown.

Wow...

I wouldn't go that far - the guy didn't throw for 300+ and 2 tds today or anything.

Plummer just rallied the donkeys into field goal position with 45 seconds left, down by 3 to Cleveland. No time outs. He underthrew a long pass and was lucky it wasn't picked.
