He would be fine here as a 3/4 DC, doubt he would settle for a DC job right now though? Like a previous poster said. "He'll probably wait to see what happens with Nagy in Chicago"? After All, he was the DC there, that's what propelled him to get the Panthers HC position.
Navy will likely win the Trubiscuit battle and get to choose his own QB for a year or 2.

If Ron is hell-bent on Chicago, he may be well served to roll with a DC opportunity for 2 years, to see if Bears gig opens up.

My guess is that with the hysteria over Jackson and the Ravens, Greg Roman will be the hot commodity as Ronnie R's replacement

I could see Roman getting a job with whomever drafts #1 and takes Hurts.

I have no interest in Riviera as a head coach or DC.

That would go against any current continuity this organzation has.

3 straight years of starting all over.....no.

I lean towards no because how would his scheme be different than Wilks?

Rivera to the NYG makes sense. They’ve hired offensive coordinators back to back and it hasn’t worked out for them. Maybe returning to their roots is in the plans especially with Chase Young dropping into their laps if they keep losing.
