I wouldn't say 2 years but I think it may be awhile before he's Kyler Murray again. I would expect he'll play for us next season at some point.

It's early but the 49ers are so lucky. They trade to get a high #1 who so far has been a bust and is hurt. Because Jimmy G was hurt they couldn't trade him so he ends up starting most of the year and plays well. And then they have to go to Purdy who so far looks pretty good

Kyler has his money. We had him under contract and we caved. He has so much guaranteed money he will never be useful to us again. Should have made him earn it. We are screwed for many years.

From what I've seen players can come back after a year, but it takes 2 to get the quickness back
