What a shame. ADub is a Cardinal through and through. Another talented guy this coaching staff will run out of town. I'm sure the Whisendone apologists will label ADub as old and washed up and Dockett as old and a locker room cancer. If there are two guys who need to be on this team for their "intangibles" and "moxie" it's ADub and Dockett, not the John Skelton, Ryan Lindley's and Max Hall's of the world. Whisendone has set this team back a decade...at least.
I guess Joey Porter brought alot on intangibles too.

Let's face it, if you're older and not producing, the team moves on. Every team does that. That's the way the league is. These two have been well compensated for their play and intangibles. They won't be run off if they can still play.

Go with 2 decades.... at least. It gives it more effect .

The coach loses the team when they do stupid things.

It goes all the way back to the Matt fiasco, they should of played him and let him fail on his own or do well either way, instead the coach played captain my way or the highway and karma has now come full circle on his ass.

Good coaches go stupid all the time with the power thing it's a major hangup for most, the 49ers coach just went stupid and fixed what wasn't broken at bizzare time to fix it, we'll see if it's a move of genius or a whiz like move of disaster.

You can't play with people like that at any level and really garner the respect you need to do your job, there's a better way to handle that stuff with a little more human respect than Whiz shows IMO.

Like you, I wanted the Leinart issue to play out naturally, but, Matt played into his hands with a silly interview with the press where he stated that he'd done more than enough to win the job, etc. If he'd shut up, he'd at least had the backup job and an opportunity.

Given his career since leaving AZ... I think, however, failure was very much in the cards.

Let's remember there was little sympathy expressed on this board for Leinart and talking heads said that Leinart (not Whiz) had lost the dressing room.

Their paycheck shows them respect and that's all they care about.

Instead of worrying about the coach, quitting, respect, or other things, go out and do your job, and earn your money.

That's easy to say. But if you have a workplace and don't show your employees any respect you are either going to have to pay them a lot more money than your competitor or you'll show up at the workplace one day and all your good employees will be gone.

As for the players the majority of them care as much about their teammates as they do the money.

Whatever cbus. You don't think Dockett and ADub are still producing? Give me a break. And yes, when all said and done this team will be set back. Next year will look more like the 2003 Cardinals than the 2008 Cardinals. The holes on this team are too great, and now it appears we will have to focus on two more positions that we didn't plan on replacing at the seasons start. Yes, Wilson is getting older an production has declined, but he is still good enough to start and play in this league.

I know your a Whisenhunt fan, but he has had three years to do it his way and he has failed, miserably. The talent level on this team has dropped considerably from what it was in the playoff years.

And beyond frothing at the mouth speculation, where is it said that DD and Adub won't be with the team next season?

Uh oh. Someone's angry that their boy Kenny Whisenhunt is on the hot seat. I guess I'll have to take a players word for it when he says he doesn't expect to be back here next year. I guess I'll also have to take a reporters word for it when he reports a player requests a trade.

It's ok angry Canadian guy we will have someone here next year that will clean up this mess and bring this team back to respectability.

Keep in mind it was Horton's call to bench Adrian Wilson. So, again, this is the guy most want to take over the team.

Not in the least bit "angry" and can live with whatever decisions are made.

This is a diversion in life... not life.

I just think you're a bit overboard with your projections on what may or may not occur, who may or may not be here - because it feeds your peculiar bias.

Pretty sad this is what this has come to. If one of Whiz's biggest supporters - if not THE biggest supporter - has grown tired of the coachspeak and rinse and repeat attempts to build an offense, that really says something. I don't think we should be crapping on DD here. Maybe he shares some blame, maybe he doesn't, but the bottom line is Whiz has lost the locker room. And when that happens it is time for big changes.

Come on Canuck. A six game losing streak, a seven game losing streak, a no end in sight nine game losing streak in which the team gives up and get blasted, players that are dejected, angry and upset and you don't think people are going to lose their jobs?

I don't know what changes are in store, but, see a distinction between "core' players leaving and coaches being fired.

Yeah I see the distinction and I see a lot of smoke coming from two core players about being on their way out.

The decision to tell the defense to stand down was a huge coaching blunder. the defense had been playing great and had handled the joke of an offense well all season.

After losing game after game due to the offense, asking them to roll over in order to give the offense another shot was a huge coaching blunder.

The coaches biggest challenge is managing players mental state. He should have seen this before making that call, the team offense and defense is totally lost as a result. The only hope for Whiz is that Kolb comes back next week and pulls out a win.

You dont get rid of people like Adub or Fitz. It is moronic to think they will be gone.

These are Mt. Rushmore figures of the last decade for our team. They are allowed to stay as long as they want IMO.

You did read that article where Adrian Wilson said he expects not to be back, right?

What article? By whom?

(Wilson adjusted his contract last offseason to avoid being a cap casualty in 2013. So, if he leaves, it won't be because of $$$)

azcentral. headline is "Wilson doubts he'll return." but I'm sure that reporter and Adrian are just frothing at the mouth because it feeds their "peculiar bias."

You dont get rid of guys like Adub. Period.

He goes up in the rafters next to Aeneas. Period.

I would rather can Horton & Whiz than have his legacy tarnished.

Just read it. A guy who is frustrated and down and wondering about his future; all understandable. It doesn't tell me that Horton / Whiz / Graves don't see him as part of the 2013 lineup.

Doesn't want to play for Whiz. Alienating another Cardinals player. Please Bidwill fire Whiz.

What player pf any ability would want to play for this team. As of today we are the worst team I have ever seen in the NFL. Not because of our record but because we cannot do much of anything right. From ownership on down to the bottom. I have no clue what we do now or even next year. Neither does our management. The day Kurt Warner retired was the day this downfall started.

Well this franchise did get rid of Aeneas, which many consider to be its greatest Arizona player. Arizona...where great players & coaches come to die!:bang:
