We're picking up QBs that couldn't make it on a team where their starter is going to prison and Joey Harrington is their only hope for the season? Good god.

Per Rotoworld (link below) ..... Toby Korrodi was cut today

Too bad. Korrodi is from my hometown and I was hoping he would develop.

So much for Tango...err 4Devil's theory that Whis told Toby to throw the INT on the first play and that Korrodi could "seamlessly" take over for Leinart down the road.

I would have liked to see more from Korrodi in the preseason games. Boyd gets waaaaaay too much time.

I had hopes for Korrodi but man did he look awful against the Texans!

I miss Preston Parsons - at least he always came in and lit up the 3rd team defenses he played against in the preseason.

I think we have two different memories of Preston Parsons

I think we should have given korrodi more time. At least we still have the fabulous Shane Boyd.

I was at the game and did not think he looked awful. Yes, he did throw a pick
on his first throw. So what! He only played in a couple of series and looked to have a decent arm and good pocket presence. I was hoping he would at least get signed to the practice squad.

:( darn. I was genuinely rooting for the guy to catch on. After everything in his life, he deserves it.

Here's hoping someone else gives him an opportunity and he becomes a worthwhile backup.

I know it is preseason but why was his first play a pass play. Shouldn't the coaches let him hand it off once or twice to get rid of the jitters?

Preston Parsons never threw a pass in a regular season game.

BTW: He just signed with the Broncos so Where has he been for the last 3 seasons?

CARDINALS MAKE

ROSTER MOVES

Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed quarterback LANG CAMPBELL to a one-year contract, has released quarterback TOBY KORRODI and has reached an injury settlement with fullback A.J. SCHABLE.

Campbell (6-1, 212) played with the Austin Wranglers of the Arena Football League this past spring where he completed 184 of 278 passes for 2,279 yards and 41 touchdowns. Originally signed by Cleveland as an undrafted rookie free agent out of William & Mary in 2005, Campbell was released during training camp by the Browns that year and went on to play for the Berlin Thunder in the spring of 2006 where he completed 116 of 204 passes for 1,264 yard and 10 touchdowns. Campbell was released again by the Browns during training camp in 2006 and spent the season out of football until re-signing with Cleveland for their regular season finale against the Houston Texans where he was the inactive third quarterback.

He signed with the Atlanta Falcons on July 26, but was released on August 12.

Campbell will wear jersey #6.

Once upon a time, this unsung dude (formerly packing grocery boxes, as legend holds it) made his mark in the Arena League, scrapped his way onto a pro roster and eventually made it to the Super Bowl.

His name: Kurt Warner.

Hmmm.

41 TD's in the Arena League. If Lienart gets 41 TD's this year, I think we might better last years won/loss record.
