I'm loving this...not for the cards because that sucks that it appears peyton is not going there.... but I'm loving the media and how they are chasing this story. if any of you have ever lived in a tornado area...this reminds me of a bunch of weathermen trying to find a tornado on their radar computers.

Manning to Denver, Tebow stays around, ESPN launches ESPN 4 - featuring 24/7 coverage of the Broncos.

shefter is sharp. I think the espn NBA guys could take a page out of his book. yeah he reports a lot of speculation, but he seems pretty intelligent most of the time.

although I do disagree with shefter in the sense that SF is not below the titans and the broncos. I don't think peyton's (lack of a visit to SF) means anything.

no news from urban, jurecki, gambo of #Fitzknows. whats up with that.

Typical coverage of the Cardinals by the Phoenix area media. We get better coverage of the Cowboys by the Austin media 200 miles from Dallas than Phoenix does of the Cardinals.

You know, I never really wanted to admit it, but that whole AFC preference thing really is starting to make sense!

I really don't care about Manning anymore. This has become a media circus and I think Manning has caught Lebron Jamesitis. The reality is he would have been a short term solution (2-3 years) in the first place with a fairly high degree of getting hurt and never reaching the full contract terms.

I would much rather we found a long term solution to the position.

he is just making sure he goes to the best spot and makes the best deal for himself and his family. what is wrong with that? one thing is for sure he isn't rubbing anyone wrong by this. I think everyone respects peyton manning. this type of free agency for a franchise qb is unlike anything we have ever seen.

Yesterday my wife yelled at me because I said Peyton's stupid trophy wife was steering the bus toward Tennessee for non-football reasons.

Now I am really starting to come around to her POV. Family should come first, Peyton. You are a family man, aren't you?

I think the secret workout and physical for SF is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way. Why do that when he was openly visiting Den, AZ and Ten. Then leak it 2 hours before the deadline for the Cardinals to cut Kolb. It sure does add to the circus and doesnt exude class in my book or show any respect to the other teams involved.

Scarlett Johansson isn't all that pretty anyway...a one-night stand with her is overrated. I would rather get a wife.

SI_PeterKing: No way Seattle gives its top offer for Flynn with the possibility that Alex Smith could be in play if SF gets Peyton. [via Twitter]

Why? Because he's doing the right thing and considering all of his options?

He would hated in many places.....I think there is a much better way of handling this....He knew who wanted him...Let the teams know and do it the right way. In my opinion....We got Kush-Lashed and I would be pissed if I were the Cardinals. You don't think the Cards won't blitz him like he has had 4 neck surgeries. Greg Williams would.

do you have proof that he hid that? either way it is going to rub people the wrong way because it is SF and you don't like them....for all we know it were the 49ers that kept it a secret not peyton. and on that note who's to say there are not other teams out there that he met with that no one knows about? either way this doesn't show a lack of class. If it were me and I were looking at my options I would always keep a couple of aces in the hole if I could. the more you open your mouth about things the worse off it hurts YOU in the end. just ask dwight howard.

what about the seahawks??????? he didn't even answer their phone calls? If peyton were a jerk he would have kept leading you on and had you cut your QB. If anything he did the noble thing by calling your team to let them know...he didn't have to do that if he didn't care.

Kind of wish we heard about this a few days ago and flew in Alex Smith yesterday, all Kurt Warner style.

So Peyton works out for the 49er's earlier this week and the media totally misses it? Wow.

that is strange, but man I have a feeling about the 49ers. I was leaning toward the titans the other day, but now i'm not so sure anymore. all along I thought they, baltimore, and houston(wildcard) would all strongly consider him. I was surprised at first when none of them did. because looking at their roster the QB position is what is keeping them from winning a SB. that one year for baltimore with dilfer was more of an exception to the rule.

This could be awesome so if Peyton signs with SF he's going to play against three teams twice a year with decent defenses or at least three teams with decent defensive talent, two of those teams he will be playing the defense will be pissed off and have extra motivation against him and the third team will be coached by a HC who knows him best out of all three AND had a DC that had an alleged "bounty" out on him for years in Tennessee.

either way he is a big boy and can handle it. i think it makes for a great story line whether he plays in SF or Tenn. If he plays in denver he runs tebow out of town so that is a story line as well.

I heard somone make a joke about tebow earlier saying imagine if he loses his job on 3/16. kind of corny, but it made me chuckle inside.
