How are people do surprised by this? They were mentioned as a possible candidate from the get go and when they didn't re-sign Smith the writing was all over the wall. I would have been more surprised if the didn't at least look at him. What's really peeing me off is all of the interested teams with a realistic shot (no not Miami)of Manning have reports of him working out for the team and getting a physical--except Arizona. WTF? SF getting Manning automatically makes them the favorites to win the SB over DEN, and TEN. If he wants to win it all he will go to SF.

We will just have to count on Adrian Wilson doing what Aeneas Williams did for us in the past.
