How the balls do the Grizz beat the Wolves on the road?

If the Wolves slip outta the playoffs it will be one of the bigger turds a team has taken in recent memory. I know Butler got hurt, but they added him, Gibson and Teague to their core...

The shine is really wearing off Thibs.

......... and now the Suns are blowing it! They were down by 20 and have now narrowed the deficit to only 3 points at halftime. Sarver better be in the locker room giving Triano a reverse pep talk! Lose baby, lose!!!!!

Best odds now. Funny though. Run tankathon a few times and they slip to the fourth pick a lot. Good grief. The Suns in the NBA lottery is like Charlie Brown trying to kick a football.

Mavericks play the Kings today, one of them has to win. That will get some more separation for the Suns. Dallas is only 4 games ahead while the Kings are 5.5 so I'd rather see the Mavericks win but a Kings win would put them far enough away that they shouldn't be able to catch us. The Suns have just 7 games remaining and sole possession of the #1 spot right now.

The Cavs play the Heat and the Bucks play the Clippers, those games will help determine where their picks land. Right now the Bucks are the #7 seed in the East while the Heat are #8, it would be nice if the Heat win and the Bucks lose so they switch in the standings. We get the Heat pick regardless but we'll only get the Bucks pick if they stay as one of the 2 worst playoff teams since it's protected #17-30. Washington plays San Antonio, a Wizards win will help separate them from the Bucks, who are 1 full game behind them right now. The Heat are .5 games behind the Bucks.

The Bulls also play the Rockets but I don't think there is much of a chance for them.

I still worry about Memphis and Atlanta but that's it. I'm confident we're not finishing any lower than 3rd worst.
Oh I am pretty confident of that. Its the lottery balls that concern me. I just know the Suns will be picking 4th. I am as confident in that as I am that Charlie Brown won't kick the football, or that the Cardinals won't draft a franchise QB.

We got a wins from Washington and Miami to help us get the Milwaukee pick . Gotta keep Milwaukee out of the 6th seed and the #17 pick.

Was heartened to see tonight's results. Most important in all this is KD's return. I don't see us beating them with him on the floor.

When Milwaukee wins, I console myself with the idea that they somehow might get worse next year and implode, giving us an even higher pick the following year. But I agree with the sentiment on here that it's better if it conveys now. It's a bird in the hand. Plus it might give us the opportunity to package the two mid-round picks to move up.

I really, really want that number one pick. If we covet a player, we get him. If we don't covet a PARTICULAR player, we trade down for assets, a la Boston last year. They dropped a mere two spots and picked up a high first rounder. Nuts.

I would certainly be easily consoled at #2. We could take Ayton or Doncic and be done with it.

Top two would guarantee us a quality big and top three would guarantee us a quality player.. meaning Doncic if he falls to #3.

I really don't want to go below top three.

Waste of time to discuss. The NBA Draft is rigged.

Just hope we get another good prospect to fall to us at #4.
