I know I shouldn't be asking this but we have a lot of guys out not playing.

R WE TANKING??

Let's just say the we are not putting the pedal to the metal. I think the injuries are legitimate but if it were a playoff race, I would expect some of the injured players might try to play.

I think the Suns would prefer to rest Booker the rest of the season with the hand injury but McDonough has made very clear the decision to play is up to him.

He seems very sensitive about it.

Devin Booker wants Suns fans to know one thing. The sprained right hand that has kept him out the last four games – and likely will sideline him again Monday against Boston – isn’t a fake injury to help Phoenix tank.

“Everyone thinks I’m faking it. They think we’re trying to tank but that’s not the case,” Booker said. “I always pride myself on playing and playing through injuries.”

I agree. There are legit health issues but if we were in the hunt for the playoffs I suspect more guys would be out there on the floor.

It's my thinking as well. Why risk it for meaningless games.

Grizzlies up by 2 with 2:16 to go against a Blazers team without Lillard. This would be the ultimate tank gift.

Who would have seen a 2-game winning streak for the Grizzlies against the Wolves and the Blazers?!

Fantastic! The Suns are sitting pretty right now for sure.

This means we can actually root for a win at some point this season. Right now it is the last game of the season against Dallas. Hopefully Memphis and Atlanta get one more win and we'll be able to root for a couple more wins.

It would be fun not to worry about.

Can’t root for wins until our magic lottery number strikes zero.

You know what’s nice about the Mavs last game of the season? It’s likely Dirk’s last game EVER so they might try to win as long as I.T doesn’t screw them that much in the lotto standings.

It's nice to have a little cushion to where the suns can "drop a game" and still maintain their position. This tank has been intense lately as the season comes to an end.

BUT

Now the excitement just builds. Each game from here on out is big. Then we get the NBA lottery to know our order. Then the draft with our numerous tradable assets. While other teams are licking their wounds from getting beat by the Warriors we are going to be plotting and planning our revenge on the league.

Maybe we should send you to the lottery because the Suns need some luck. :p
