It's happened, but not often. Last time was the 2009 Draft where the Kings had the worst record and the 4th pick. The 2nd worst also got the 5th pick that year.

2007 draft the 3 worst teams went 4, 5, 6 respectively.

I remember that now. The Celtics thought Oden would be their next Russell. They were devastated to fall back but it resulted in the pick that was traded for Ray Allen and the rest is history.

That gives good odds of getting Ayton or Bagley, 75% of getting one of the top 2 picks. I always run it at least 5 times when I visit. When I saw the Spurs were in the lottery I ran it close to 50 times and they didn't get in the top 3 any of the attempts. Saw the Suns get #1 probably 50% of the time.

Don't get our hopes too high. I did 100 rolls and got #1:23 #2:19 #3:20 #4:38. Don't remwmber what the calculated odds were, though I seem to recall the odds for #1 were a bit under 25% and #4 was most likely, so those results match that...

I think I only did selections like 7-10 times this season.

If it is giving good picks to the Suns I do not want to wear it out.

Overall a good night for the draft picks. Spurs won, Pistons won, Philly won, Milwaukee lost. It would have been nice if Miami had lost. But at this moment our best scenario is just to hold serve. 1, 15, and 16 is our best hope going into the lottery. We just need to stay there.
