actually,
Parker > BIllups
Parker does not have a 3 point shot like Billups, but he doesn't need it. PArker is consistently one of the best FG% guards in the league. Heck, he's always among the top in FG% in the entire league, and he's a PG. He slashes to the rim and scores his 20~ish points a game. Sometimes he blows up for 30+, this is something BIllups cannot do consistently. Parker is an All-star in the WCF, Billups only started making the ECF All-star game after IVerson went out west.
Lastly, that's not how you grade a team. The Spurs are consistently in the top 3 in the NBA for several years now, and won the championship 2 of the past 3 years, including an elimination of Detroit during one of those runs.
As for Detroit spank of the Suns on SUNday....... it happens sometimes, but because of injuries or things like that. When all your players are there and you still lose by 30.....something is up. Suns fans should be worried and try to figure out why this happened. I saw the game, but I don't know the Suns enough to see what is different/wrong.
