I consider Melton and Okobo as 3rd and 4th options heading into next season... not necessarily in that order.
Why? We don't need a 3rd option point guard, not with Devin Booker and even Josh Jackson on the team. Injuries would be the only reason to have a 3rd point guard, and certainly Okobo could fit that mold.

In every game, you pick out an opposing backup point guard and state the Suns should pick him up.

I thought we were trying to relieve Booker of point guard duties.

I always look at opposing personnel. Hope the Suns FO does as well.

Huh? We don't want Booker to be a starting point guard, but you can't deny he's relatively good at playing the position, or at least, being a playmaker. Why would you take that completely away? That's asinine.

Saying Ish Smith would be a good signing has nothing whatsoever to do with getting Booker out of the position.

JJ's ankle is apparently just sprained. He won't return tonight though. Glad it's not more serious.

Bender passed it right to the Pistons. WTF? He should have shot it but instead he lobbed it right to them for an easy fast break. He was doing ok, for being Bender, and then he reminds you why he's been buried on the bench most of the season. He's our tank insurance.

Had sprains like that before. They HURT. And take awhile to recover from. He's done for the season. Out of our plethora of wings, we're down to one.
