The only thing about KD, is he's the only guy we have with size for his position. The Western Conference is getting taller and younger. We are already a small team. Dropping KD makes that much worse. I get the contract money and second apron concerns, but we would have to lose both Beal and KD, and no one is taking Beal.

That's not exactly a glowing endorsement. KD isn't a PF but the Suns are using him as one. As long as they do, we're doomed. Lack of size isn't a reason to keep Durant so much as a reason to fire JJ for failing to fill out the roster around him. We aren't the only 2nd apron team but are arguably the most lopsided and top heavy. That is a GM issue.
