Frye has been better so far today, because he hasn't been a disaster defensively. It would be nice if he could make a shot, but at least it's no longer a double whammy.

The Lakers went on an 8-0 run when he entered the game. How is that not being a disaster defensively?

Exactly. As long as Lopez will receive the vast majority of playing time and can avoid foul trouble, Frye shouldn't be the reason for a (possible) loss.

The '0' means that our offense was as much part of the run as our defense. It's not as if the Lakers were just isolating anybody against Frye. They hit outside shots, too.

I agree, no way they can stop using him. Just don't focus for him on offense and tell him to not stand at the 3pt line but go fight for offensive rebounds/put back. But saying not to play him is ridiculous.

IMO, Frye needs to get out of his funk. Bringing Collins off the bench after Lopez might dramatically effect Frye's mentality. It sends a message. Then try bringing Frye back later in the game.

I disagree. He's been the same disaster this game as he has all series, from my point of view. With him in there, the Lakers went on a run, just like in the other games. He's 0 for 7. He looks frightened. With Lopez in, our defense seems to pick up. Please Gentry I implore you, don't bring Frye back in.

Dragic's layup on Odom was awesome. This kid can score a variety of ways inside.

Wow1 18/20 FTs vs 0/3 FT. And 3 to 9 TOs/. Good luck keeping those ratios up.

This could have been a series if Amare tried on the first game or if Channing would do anything.

If we can get another big man, with a healthy Lopez we can go a long way. Lopez is very hard to guard.. JRich has moves...

That should have been an offensive foul on Artest - twice! First he pushed off Amar'e with his left arm and then blocked Robin when going for the layup.

That play, where Gasol had an easy point you can see Amare watching Kobe . Wonder how much he paid for on court tickets.
