Who would rather see Saban Lee play instead of Shamet?? I know it’s crazy but I think Lee wouldn’t be afraid and would play loose, in a good way, more of a psychological thing.

He’s got 12/8 at halftime on 6/8 shooting

Yeah he’s been horrible
DA's biggest problems in this series so far is that he's been terrible at fighting for rebounds and he doesn't seem to understand how to rotate for defensive help. Maybe he's just terrified by Zubac, but that last shot made by Kawhi he should have helped CP3.

But he has a really pretty touch from the free throw line right now and we'd be a lot worse without him.

I mean I just don’t understand why this is so hard, double Kawhi every time and make someone else beat us.

I think Shamet has about the worst contract in the NBA at this point. Suns probably just got eat the contract and move on after these playoffs. Hard to see any value rostering him.
You know his salary is just a little bit above the exception right? The problem isn't that he makes 10m a year, it's that he makes it for so many years.

He had a rough first quarter, but he’s been our best player in the 2nd. He kept this team from being down by 20
Eh, he’s hit a few midrange shots but continues to not play any defense. He is completely in the wrong spot at all times in terms of crashing the boards on the offense. He’s still soft and the clippers are taking advantage of it.

I get being caught up in the moment but you can't be serious, the worst contract in the NBA? Ben Simmons feels slighted right now.

Who cares? Booker always has to tell him what to do. Ishbia and Jones have to find a way to upgrade with his cap space. I think CP3 has a team option, too.

I think Monty is hurting the benches production with these bizarre rotations and giving Landry Shamet so much playing time. The guy does nothing out there. Hes apparently playing because they need a backup point guard and Payne is hurt yet Shamet never brings the ball up the court or facilitates the offense in any way.

There is a saying, "you can't get blood out of turnip," meaning, you can't get something out of nothing.

It’s still Duncan Robinson. He’s making $18 million to ride the pine lol

At one point he had 10 points out of 12 total in the qtr and was the only reason we were not down 20.

Well that was an interesting change of events lol. Notice how the deficit went away once we got stops and got out in transition. That’s all we have to do.

Biggest 24 minutes of our season. We’ve gotta play the way we played to end the half.

and we won’t have much of one next year either. Gotta figure out how to maximize what we got, cause we aren’t getting more cap space

James Jones and Mat Ishbia should have thought of that.

Ayton would lien a word….
dude, give me a break. Simmons is like the 12 th man and can’t even get in the game on a bad team, and he makes 10 million more a year.

Ayton played decent that half.

It's amazing that this game is tied. Suns have three major issues- they are turning the ball over (pretty sure they had five in the first quarter), they are not grabbing defensive rebounds, and Monty doesn't have the rotation figured out. I just don't understand how the rotation has not been figured out a week or two ago. This is just inexcusable.

The question is will the starters have any gas at the end of the game. Suns bench has only scored 5 points.
