Yeah I'm being somewhat facetious but its still a terrible contract. Dude gives Minimum salary level play (which is what less than 3 million a year) at best and the Suns are paying 11 million a year for the next 3 years.

Ayton might have the worst contract on the team. Shamet has 1 season left guaranteed at about 30% of what Ayton is set to make. Shamet is movable as an expiring type contract if nothing else. His contract isn't that bad.

Absolutely. Ishbia did not spend all this money and trade for KD to watch Monty "Ted Lasso" Williams get out coached over and over in the playoffs, changing the lineup to a group thats never started together, giving excessive minutes to Shamet when there are better options on the bench, etc. Ishbia will move on quickly.

Next season is the last guaranteed year. He's basically an expiring contract. It's not a bad contract, now, it was a bad extension though. If that makes sense.

Agree, just more disappointed with Aytons potential that he is wasting away. He has no heart, not committed to the process.

All in all the fact that the Suns are tied at half is a best case scenario considering how bad things were looking in the second quarter. They have one half to even things out or they may be done since climbing out of a 2-0 hole with two home losses doesn't seem likely.

Unless Book and KD can somehow become Superman and play at extremely high levels for 40+ mins per game, the Suns have no shot… None.
All this bitching about the bench and rotations is so off base.
How ‘bout KD, Book, Paul and Ayton win when they’re on the court?!?!?

DA's biggest problems in this series so far is that he's been terrible at fighting for rebounds and he doesn't seem to understand how to rotate for defensive help. Maybe he's just terrified by Zubac, but that last shot made by Kawhi he should have helped CP3.

But he has a really pretty touch from the free throw line right now and we'd be a lot worse without him.

DA is really really good defending the perimeter. This team was amazing on the defensive end last year all season

Then something happened I have no idea what but all of a sudden in the Dallas series we were running around chasing guys and our defense fell apart

I think we’re still top 10 but it’s been a dramatic fall off from last year. That’s really odd to me
