Want to know why the Suns are losing? The Clippers have a bench.

They have outscored the Suns bench 16-5.
I think Monty is hurting the benches production with these bizarre rotations and giving Landry Shamet so much playing time. The guy does nothing out there. Hes apparently playing because they need a backup point guard and Payne is hurt yet Shamet never brings the ball up the court or facilitates the offense in any way.

This team takes on the persona of its coach. It’s soft, finesse and mentally weak. It’s evident in guys like Booker, Ayton and CP3. That’s not going to change because Monty wines about foul discrepancy during post game pressers.

Monty still experimenting with lineups. He has effectively ruined any continuity we had during the 8-0 stretch.

Fire him. Period.

What 8-0 stretch do you refer to? There was never any continuity because Durant is made of glass. He played 3 games at the beginning of March, missed 10, played in 5 games at the end of March/beginning of April, and then sat for 2 more.

What sort of continuity can be developed over a 20 game stretch when the key player is in and out of the lineup? The 8-0 with Durant was always nonsense. Who did they beat in those 8 games, for real? Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, San Antonio, OKC, Minnesota, and Denver twice, when Denver had thrown in the towel. It was fools gold.

I mean I think people basically overreact all the time here including myself. I think too often we blame Monty for everything, but putting Lee in this game unless there's a 20 points spread is inexcusable. I mean yes vanGundy he did have the third best three point shooting this season, but when you look at what he did after his hot start it's zilch. Besides, scoring is not our problem in this game. It's stopping the clippers. Lee is absolutely not the answer there.

And one more thing. The biggest problem with this team defensively is actually that they all run under the basket for the boards. When the other team is shooting three pointers it doesn't make sense that four or five of our guys are all within 6 feet of the basket looking up.

Booker ties the game with a three before the half.

One small adjustment I appreciate from Monty tonight. He's taking the end of quarters seriously tonight by leaving the starters in during those critical moments. He blew this in game 1.
