Suns shooting 66% and we are still getting worked. Denver on pace to score 136 points.
Horrible interior equates to sooner or later easier shots from outside. Everyone starts feeling comfortable doing whatever the hell they want. All starts with our crappy interior presence. IMO

Jokic with 14 rebounds. No one can move him out of the lane.

Yeah. This team isn’t good enough.

Not good rebounding, perimeter D, has an iso only offense that doesn’t shoot 3s. That’s a horrific combination.
Yep. You either have to stay at home on their 3 point shooters or crash the boards. You can’t throw up a goose egg on both.

Plus, there has already been 2 occasions where we ran two players at there 3 point shooters. LOL.

We traded 2 elite 3 point shooters to double down on mid range.
It's amazing, you can go through the gameday threads the past couple of years and read over and again how stupid Monty is because all we do is shoot 3s. So now we're just a 2 point team and Monty is catching the blame for that too.

Today's NBA revolves around the 3. You have to be able to defend it and shoot it often with high efficiency. We lost two players that shoot the 3 well and defend it better than the rest of our team does. That's not on Monty.

Rebounding is a huge issue for Phoenix with the bulkier Nuggets.

How Landry Shamet has become the player who gets the most minutes off the bench is beyond me.

Make no mistake… Shamet isn’t the reason we’re losing. But he makes zero impact on either side of the court and we have to give Payne a chance to get his spot back.

Jokic 14 boards
Ayton 3 boards
Suns 15 boards

threes:
Suns 2 of 5
Nuggs 9 of 17

Math. All math.

This isn’t hard

Denver shoots 3s Suns shoot 2s

That’s how you can shoot 67% and be down double digits

GTFOH

We have NEVER been a three point shooting team under Monty. We have been almost strictly mid range the minute Paul came here.

Dude that is so off base it’s not even funny

Anybody want to bet against Monty giving Shamet more time in the second half and being useless yet again?!?

No, but what is on Monty is last year and in the Bucks series, those two 3 point shooters we lost got SHUT DOWN and that swung both series. Bridges averaged a whopping 2.3 3 point attempts per game in the last 5 games once we got up 2-0. Why dod that happen? Because a) he crumples like tin foil in the playoffs (which he did pathetically again this season) and b) because they started closing out on D and Monty couldn’t figure out how to scheme him open.

He had no clue how to adjust back then to get them good 3 point looks and now he’s created an offense that has no flow or motion to even get shooters open.

Should’ve done whatever it took within reason to keep Cam. Obviously understand Bridges had to be included in the deal.

Still the right move just poor roster moves around KD/Book

Why did Bridges have to be traded? I don't buy the premise the Suns had to make the trade.

You can’t be serious about this.
