Krang, did someone come after you on the board? Where was it man? In the gameday thread? I want to read it.
My friend why do u care
Murray looks promising so far, it's just worthless try to respond to any users bashing him
We have many holes in the roster, he has weak protection and we have statically the worse receiving group( last in separation) and that's why they made a lot of screen passes, he is put in a nightmare situation and I think he did pretty well considering the circumstances
Who doesn't want to recognize it is not worth any reply

Step 1: Take a season where the team wasn't competitive in 11 of 16 games they played. Then...

Step 2: Hire a college coach with a losing record. Then....

Step 3: Ditch your top 10 QBOF from a year ago, and draft
at #1 overall
a 5'10" QB who played one full season of college . He did win the Heisman, and produced one of the greatest offensive seasons in college football ever.

I don't think there is much middle ground to be found in all those moves..... either you are all in on the concept, or, you think its doomed to failure. Its brilliant, or, reckless.

And add a general manager that hasn't drafted well and a franchise headed in the wrong direction and it spells a lot of unhappy fans.

You're right juza, but I want to see which person came after him, and what they said. If they were way over the line, I want to know who it was, so I that can change how I talk to this person.

Not sure I agree that they are headed in the wrong direction.

They appear to be better than last year's team in just about every aspect and that is with a rookie QB and a rookie coach.

We just need to see some improvement as the season progresses and the team needs to add talent at a few key positions in order to take the next step.

Unless the Cardinals start winning, I'm not convinced they are headed in the right direction. A lot of weak drafts and the previous coaching hire doesn't help confidence.

I'm not sure fans are convinced Keim is the right GM to turn the franchise around.

Yeah, that wasn't pretty. Not blaming you or anyone else, but TBH, that exchange infuriated me and was what started my thinking. The final straw was people holding on to animosity more than 24 hours after the game, which shows that there are legitimate grudges that people can't get over. It's cool to be pissed minutes or even hours after the game, but if people are still attacking other posters after a night's sleep, it's an issue.

I hope this thread at least made people check their emotions.

I'm not going to hold any grudges, but I take exception to out and out violation of forum rules and decorum, followed up by about 5 unwanted PMs from a poster and also a moderator reopening a CLOSED thread just to call me out.

Frankly, I'm about done posting here after this experience. We all have our opinions and think other opinions stink. Not a damn person on here is right all of the time. I know I'm wrong often, because we dont have access to all of the information so we are all often stuck with opinions that are flawed from the start.

But I take extraordinary exception to being called out publicly in a situation where everyone's emotions are running high.

That’s fair. Sunday was an ugly day. No bones about it.

I was asking if he wanted to apologize for being a jerk to anyone anyone who dared question that Swearinger was average. He then called me a jerk back and we both got out of hand on the thread from there. It was ugly and stupid... and fueled by a good dose of booze on my part.

personally, I think the reason Sunday sucked so much is that this team kinda gave us all false hope the first two games. Most of us expected to be better, but still really bad and the great comeback to tie in OT and play the Ravens tough raised our hopes. I thought we'd definitely beat Carolina and then set up a big show-down game with the Hawks to see if we were for real... but that fourth quarter was all the reality check I needed and could frankly take.

that attitude is whats infuriating.Criticizing KM because he played lousy when it counted most is bashing?IMO its saying some expected the QB to at least overcome some of the issues (repeated sacks, poor interceptions etc;).Sure KM probably was discouraged but he is supposed to be better than that.Sure everyone expects a bit of growing pains because this isn`t the BIG12 but even then players have a bad stretch.Murray did.Pointing that out isn`t bashing....
Murray has flashed skills at time and other times he looks like the rookie he is.Maybe some only want a positive spin on anything KM does but that doesn`t mean mistakes can`t be discussed .

Yes through 3 games we can say he had up and downs moments, but he showed something and I m optimistic about his chance of becoming a franchise qb

U realize the line is putrid and the WRs are in the bottom in the NFL about getting separation
Combine the 2 things together and u can't notice he is doing pretty good

Did anyone expect anything different unless it was a success out of the gate?

The most controversial HC hire that I can recall, well ever. Followed by a controversial #1 overall selection. When you follow conventional wisdom HC hires and #1 picks most of the fans are closer to neutral about it.

When you do something this wild people are going to be evangelized to one side or the other, and confirmation bias will be ripe until the facts are too many to ignore or explain away.

The fans will start to come to concensus once the offense thrives or once it is clear it won't.

And I also notice when doesn't do well.Top pick in the draft equals higher expectations.. Comes with the territory.

It's possible to take shots while still keeping things light.

I'm not seeing much light here - just the neg.

It sets a harsh tone not condusive to winning.

I get that it's fun to hurl darts at SK or KK. I just don't think that it helps.

Ive learned over multiple years that booze and the Cards are a toxic combination. I have a couple personal escorts out of the old SDS days to show for it lol also have a few bruises too. Awwww those were the days. Now its a good ole Ginger beer and some grub

I don't think that Murray and Kingsbury said the bolded part. The reality is that the offense we opened with was extremely different from what we showed in the preseason — both in personnel and tempo. I just think that our personnel at the skill positions has been so bad that the element of surprise was just enough to keep us afloat as an offense.

Nope, they didn't say it but they inferred it.

What were you saying about Rosen after the first few games last year?

I ask because I supported Rosen throughout the year and offseason. However, I see a completely different player/skill set. Similar challenges around him but couldn't be more encouraged by Murray so far.

He isn't Tom Brady but he also didn't sit for a year and inherit a Super Bowl winning roster/supporting cast.

Don't forget even Tom Brady didn't set the world on fire statistically in his first year (2nd year in NFL):

To put the words Tom Brady and Josh Rosen in the same sentence is insulting to everything that exists

I was a fan of Rosen.I thought he got thrown in a crappy situation after Bradford flopped and Wilks & Company continued to prove weekly they were incompetent.trying to play QB with a OLINE that was made up of UDFAs the last part of the season and having only 1 NFL quality WR and no TE help...….yet none of that mattered to the detractors. Now the excuse machine is in full season mode and its only 3 games into the season.I feel sorry for Rosen ..he went from a crappy situation to a even crappier situation.I think he will be a solid QB when he gets some support and isn`t with a team that's leading rusher has 70 yards after 3 games (2.5 yds carry).
IIRC the Cards plan was for Rosen to sit a learn behind Bradford and get some game action as the season progressed.

I was a drunken fool on Sunday for sure. I'll take responsibility for my part in that stupidity. I was just so pissed at Swearinger and the D in general that I took it out on you because you came so hard after me during our convo about him before. But I definitely went over the line.

I'm sure that DJ would be thrilled to know that his play has got us throwing virtual blows on the board! LMAO!!
