They all suck. Campbell is an average player. I have seen enough. How many teams Porter and Haggans will be playing significant minutes, let alone starting??????

Campbell played well, see Carolina's rushing yards. Porter and Haggans played poorly, they just don't have anything left in the tank. In a few games, I see Acho slowing taking one of their places when he gets a better understanding of the playbook

Will be breaking down film the minute the game hits the internet. Will let you know what I see tomorrow morning on all three players in AM.

I would have liked to see our pass rushers get their hands up to block the passing lanes more often. (The one time I did see this was by Calais on the last series...and it worked).

The Dline is a current strength with Dockett, Campbell, Williams, Carter, Eason, and Holliday..

It's the best Dline we've fielded in quite some time..

DWash is also a very good player and Rhodes is solid (although he was bad today)... Every other defender on the roster is currently a below average football player IMO

Campbell is an average player and not sure about the man love he gets here... OLB's are the top priority next season, but we need upgrade here as well.

az1965, just tackles does not tell you how well a player performed. He held his ground, and made the OL adjust during the play. Early fourth or late third Quarter, the DL seemed to all be gased for a few series, but that was everyone on the DL till towards the end they came alive

Hahaha...did you watch the game? Not sure exactly what you are looking for from a 3-4 D-linemen and while I can't completely disagree with you about some of our older guys, be careful what you wish for with our front 3 young man. Go back and re-watch the tape if you haven't seen the game already - on about half of the plays our linebackers made, who do you see in front of them clearing the holes? Sorry son, just way off with this one.

Campbell had only 3 tackles

You don't judge a 3-4 DE by their number of tackles. He's not a friggin linebacker that is going to get 100 tackles a season. I think the majority of cards fans are clueless when it comes to the responsibilities of dlinemen in a 3-4 defense.

Porter and Haggans both suck though, I will agree on that.

You have to have a stable of LB'ers to play a 3-4 the way the Steelers play it, if not, mostly it shows up in insane pass yardage.

A rookie just put up 4 hundy on us in his first start, that's the definition of a problem area.

Part of that rests on the new corners, a big part but even all world corners aren't going to hold up if your blitz fizzles into an average O line.

Against a good team with an elite QB the only thing we could hope for is the QB would get confused by the sheer numbers of open WR's.

The Cards held Carolina to 74 yards rushing. Last season the Panthers had 177 against us. The year before 270. That's a tremendous improvement. I'm real happy with the way our front line played on defense.

Exactamundo. I saw some incredible and exotic blitzes dialed up by Horton. I saw an amazing lack of success with them, unless Washington was blitzing, or a corner and/or safety got through. Schofield did some damage in his very limited playing time. Other than that, we don't have enough creativity to get to the QB. Add in that we have two inexperienced corners, and it is a bad combination indeed.

Porter should've been cut this offseason IMO. I would've kept Haggans just for his experience and knowledge of the system though benched him. I can't believe the team didn't go for Manny Lawson who is atleast great against the run and coverage.

I won't be surprised to see more of Acho and Schofield as the season progresses. Porter and Haggens are obviously on the downside of their careers, but I praise the Cardinals for at least having some players with potential behind them.

Campbell looked pretty good today as did most of the defensive line. My one gripe is that both Dockett and Campbell play with poor separation and it leads to them getting held without flags being thrown. I am not sure if it is due to poor technique or poor hand usage, but it is frustrating to watch.

We shut down the running game which was a positive. In the passing game we looked like a team learning a new defensive scheme, and it hurt that Cam was so good with his down field accuracy. In the end, our defense played good enough to win which is all you can ask for each week.
