Here's how I see it:

Arizona Cardinals 12-4
Seattle Seahawks 9-7
St. Louis Rams 6-10 (Martz fired)
San Francisco 49ers 6-10 (and getting better w/ every game)

No one said less than 9-7, that's good. Obviously, the Rams fans haven't seen this thread. I say 9-7 because we have lots of young players and it's going to take time for them to et used to the system and playing on the road.

I think the Rams have the next-best talent in the division, but I have a strong feeling Martz is going to mismanage that team this year to the point where the fans will run him out of town. I think because of him, they take a major step backwards this year.

9-7. It will take some time to gel. But we go to the playoffs and the team gets even more hungry.

I see 11-5 or 12-4 in the inagural season of the new stadium.

The Rams board is now predicting us for a 10-6 season.

They just predict themselves for 12-4.:biglaugh:

I voted 9-7, but after breaking it down, I think 8-8 is more realistic. Here's how I see us getting there:

@N.Y. Giants - W (Eli is going to have a tough season opener)
St. Louis - W (I think the first home game for this team is going to be special this year)
@Seattle – L (Seattle is like April--In like a lion and out like a lamb)
San Francisco - W (Mr. Smith Goes to the Hospital)
Carolina - L (They had the ingury bug last year and still kicked our arse)
BYE
Tennessee - W (Tenn simply won't be very good next year, IMO)
@Dallas – L (Parcells can coach, I think he out-thinks DG in this one)
Seattle - W (the NFC West is all about playing at home)
@Detroit - L (I really think it'll be hard to stop that passing game with such a young secondary)
@St. Louis - L (I see a split in this series)
Jacksonville - L (Jax is my early darkhorse for the SB next year)
@San Francisco - W (You can bet that we'll be up for these SF games this year)
Washington - W (I'm not convinced they have their poop in a pile, yet)
@Houston - W (shut down Johnson, you shut down Houston)
Philadelphia - L (Philly should be very, very good again...but who knows, stranger things have happened)
@Indianapolis - W (I think Indy needs this win this year to make the playoffs, but they don't make it)

actually, I amend my earlier prediction to 9-7 after seeing the schedule laid out like that. I agree with pretty much everything in there but see us winning at least one fo the games in the Rams, Jags, Detroit stretch and see us losing both the Indy and Philly games.

9-7 and a wild card birth.

Correction. My gut was right--I missed a W in there--That IS a 9-7 scenario.

Woohoo!

I hope we find a way to play well at SDS this year....I would like to see one of those homes losses turn into a win.

I agree with your Detroit comments, though they are in a very similar situation to the cards this year.
