RC cola and a Moon PieIgnorance is an even worse look. We have ample evidence that playing starters in preseason is an outdated, foggie concept.
Hoola hoops and RC Cola. Boomer crap.

Wait… why is RC cola taking strays? That’s good!Ignorance is an even worse look. We have ample evidence that playing starters in preseason is an outdated, foggie concept.

I think the 11 on 11 drills help since Murray hasn’t throw to Brown in game situations for a long time. Since they don’t hit QBs, it’s reasonably safe.So in your opinion practice games don't help?
Yeah, the Bills are morons!Yeah Sean McVay is an idiot!
(Only dumb teams are doing what you are advocating now).
Speaking of laughably bad takes...I'm pretty certain the same cast of characters on this board were bemoaning Murray's lack of snaps last preseason. Those were some laughably bad takes last year and are even more ridiculous this season.
Preseason reps are only worthwhile to identify end of the roster players. That's it.
That's a reasonably bad interpretation of what I said. *Can* get hit doesn't mean get cold cocked. So it doesn't count unless somebody gets cold cocked ?
A reasonable middle ground.Personally I think there is a middle ground.
Giving the starters no playing time seems like a bad idea, at the same time it should probably be limited to one game and only a series or two.
You are exceptionally arrogant today. Did someone pee in your Cheerios or something? Dial back the d-baggery, eh?The Cardinals have 100% shown last year that playing in the preseason is worthless.
You old people just don't adjust.
I was mostly inferring to KM learning to read a defense. He's now calling plays and that helps.I think the 11 on 11 drills help since Murray hasn’t throw to Brown in game situations for a long time. Since they don’t hit QBs, it’s reasonably safe.
But we started 7-0 last year, which definitively means no QB ever needs to play in the preseason ever lol What's that you say? Small sample size?I was mostly inferring to KM learning to read a defense. He's now calling plays and that helps.
The best way to work on what you've learned is to do it in a live game. Not a controlled practice against your teammates.
There's nothing to replace game speed in the NFL
Starting the season with only practice reps leave you rusty to start the season
Can we afford to have a rusty QB that could cost us a game or so?
And if he starts out average wouldn't the extra practice games have elevated his game some level?
Like I say this IMO and I admit that I'm very old school and want our players to do any and everything that can do to excel
Other players and teams are doing it to get ahead
Why not our players and team?
I’d be willing to wager that Mahomes come out exponentially more sharp to start the season then Kyler. But we started 7-0 last year, which definitively means no QB ever needs to play in the preseason ever lol What's that you say? Small sample size?
Dial back the ridiculous takes and I'll agree. You are exceptionally arrogant today. Did someone pee in your Cheerios or something? Dial back the d-baggery, eh?
I respect this a lot cause you own up to it. You’re not alone.Like I say this IMO and I admit that I'm very old school
All those Super Bowl Championships prove the Bills right, amirite?Yeah, the Bills are morons!
(don't be dumb with the mud slinging, Krang).
how about all of Bellichek’s 6 Super Bowl rings? All those Super Bowl Championships prove the Bills right, amirite?
I mean last season Kyler came out strong and Mahomes honestly looked bad for the first several weeks. I really don't think pre season snaps matter too muchI’d be willing to wager that Mahomes come out exponentially more sharp to start the season then Kyler.
Don't use an evidentiary approach with the geezers!I mean last season Kyler came out strong and Mahomes honestly looked bad for the first several weeks. I really don't think pre season snaps matter too much
So a wager?I mean last season Kyler came out strong and Mahomes honestly looked bad for the first several weeks. I really don't think pre season snaps matter too much
calling plays helps with game situations... but doesnt help at all with reading defenses...thats done after the play is called.I was mostly inferring to KM learning to read a defense. He's now calling plays and that helps.

Wow it’s tempting. What would be the terms? So a wager?
Oh King of Ridiculous Takes, once you admit how wrong you were earlier in the offseason, I'll consider your ridiculous take on other's takes, m'kay?Dial back the ridiculous takes and I'll agree.
Quite a few teams including the Super Bowl Champions have taken this approach.
Oh, that's what this is, "evidence?" And not, like, poor circumstantial evidence? Don't ever let this guy near a court room lolDon't use an evidentiary approach with the geezers!
Bolded thiscalling plays helps with game situations... but doesnt help at all with reading defenses...thats done after the play is called.
but, I like seeing him do it, getting him more invested in the team as a whole can be nothing but positive
