Would be surprised to see Jackson there in round 2. Kiper said today that he has Pacman rated first at CB, then Rogers, and Rolle, Jackson and Fabian Washington are all competing for #3(he said he personally isn't all that high on Washington).

I don't do mocks until much closer to the draft, just seems pointless stuff changes daily now for the next 2 months.

Walter --

I dont see Aaron Rodgers falling out of the top 10, but I am in lock step with you on the Cardinals

-- except that I could see an offensive lineman at 3b -- the Keomatu (sp?) kid from Utah, or Ray Willis, an OT from FSU.

I do think Marlin Jackson will fall -- relative to some, he ran a solid but unspectacular 40 time of 4.52 or so at the Combine. Some teams see him as a tweener -- FS or CB.

I think he might be this year's version of Chris Gamble, who was a top 10 until a poor 40 time dropped him down the draft -- Marlin could be similiar -- starting as a last first rounder that drops into the second.

Don't care about the others but first 4 Cards (that I think would be nice):

1: Pac Man Jones-CB/KR-WVU

2: J.J. Arrington-RB-California

3a: Luis Castillo-DT-Northwestern

3b: Chris Kemoeatu-Guard-Utah

Chicago is not expected to take a CB. Either a WR or RB. I also don't think we can pass on Aaron Rodgers if he's there. We might not get a chance to draft a 1st round QB for a while. Grab a RB in the second and a CB in the 3rd

I would be happy with this draft. Completly shore up the two positions we are lacking in .. Maybe pick up a available TE ater cuts or through Free agency.

I guess if I was going to draft I would go
1 RB Cadillac Williams
2 CB Marlin Jackson
3 A. FS Brodney Pool
B. CB Antonio Perkins
4 QB Adrian McPherson
5 RB Darren Sproles
7 TE Adam Bergen

I would definitly tap either RB or CB twice through the draft.

First 7 picks:

1. SF: QB Alex Smith, Utah.

2. MIA: RB Ronnie Brown, Auburn

3. CLE: LB Merriman - My suprise of the draft, perfect fit for the 3-4.

4. CHI: WR Braylon Edwards, Michigan

5. TB: RB - Carnell Williams, Auburn

6. TN: OT - Alex Barron, Florida State - May be a slight reach but their OT's are just that bad especially with the only other starter getting arrested for abusing his wife.

7. MN: WR Mike Williams, USC

I liked it so much the first time I posted it I think I will post it again.

1. Antrel Rolle

2. JJ Arrington

3a. CB - Darrent Williams - Kind of small(5-9 175) but the fastest(4.30) guy at the combine easily and he not only did it at the combine but at his pro day as well. He can return kicks and punts as well.

3b. Kevin Everret - What Rowen did for Gonzalez and taking him to the next level both in recieving and blocking I think he can work the same magic for Kevin.

4. NT - Anthony Bryant - bigger then the other NT's Means, Fields, or Pouha but at the same time he is faster and quicker then all of them.

5. OT - Ray Willis - Florida State - Our yearly Florida State steal is right here. Played LT but cant handle speed rushers and isnt all to athletic, but is really strong and dominate run blocker, can you say RG, he becomes a steal for us and comes out of camp as the starting RG.

7. OLB - Tyjuan Hagler - Cincinnati - Not much production but a huge workout warrior(6-0 236 lbs, 4.59 40, 35 bench, 36 inch vert) The 7th round is perfect for picking up great athletes that are really raw and projects.

It's a mock turtleneck. See, it's a play on words. We all opened the thread expecting to see mock drafts, but Pantone here (the wiseguy he is), he posts a sweater.

And we laughed.

Good times. Good times.

And Kurt Warner throws three touchdown passes to him when we play the Rams in St. Louis!

1. Cedric Benson
2. Marlin Jackson
3. Matt Jones
4. Another Cb

And with one of the other picks, Dennis Green takes Maurice Clarett.

1. CB Pacman Jones
- We get the #1 CB in the draft to fill our biggest need

2. RB Ciatrick Fason (Should be there after his disappointing work-out)
- Without doubt the best RB after the top 3. Will fight with Shipp for the starting role.

3. CB/KR Antonio Perkins
- Depth at CB and a good PR

3. NT Anthony Bryant
- Depth behind Russell Davis, with eventual start at NT

4. RB/KR Darrin Sproles
- Depth at RB. 3rd down back

5. G Evan Mathis (guards trend to slide a bit)
- Depth at G. Will push for a starting role next year

7. TE Steve Fleming
- Could develop into a solid #2 TE

Wow you're pretty sure about your first two picks being the best at their positions (after the big three running backs of course) I think many people on here would debate that Pac Man Jones is not the best corner and Fason isn't the fourth best running back... I'm especially leary of Jones I think Rogers and Rolle have shown more...and as for Fason..I think Arrington has shown more and Fason had bad times
