According to the PFT rankings we have played the number 1, 3, 4 and 7 teams and have 3 wins to show for it.

Tough schedule for sure.

Pretty much #2 across the board, except for Aikman's efficiency rankings (whatever those are) which have us at 9.

Most powerpolls have the #1 vs. #3 team this week and the #2 vs #4 team. Good weekend of football ahead of us!

Sporting News has the Cardinals #2. By the way Aikman can suck eggs, never liked him. He's an A$$hole in my book.

For anyone that ever tries to quote some thing from Walterfootball, they have us currently ranked 11th because "metrics".

So with the Cards winning and the Peyton's losing, do the Cards get moved into the #1 slot or do the Patriots get it because they're the Patriots and the Cards are not?

The Cards will drop a few spots in all of the rankings because Romo was injured. New England will be #1.

Realistically, I think they Cards will be #1 or #2 in the majority of the rankings.

How can we be higher than the broncos. Sure there going to lose by 20+ but it was to the patriots. We just got lucky and beat the romo-less cowboys.

We will have the best record in the NFL

But not ranked 1 or 2

Pats
Broncos
Seahawks
Cardinals

That's the way I see it happening

We will be ranked behind the cowboys (no Romo), eagles (just won), seahawks (last year's SB winner) and lions. Most of our wins were lucky (within 7 pts) and we have 8 teams ahead of us in points differential. We are in a weak division (tough division if we were the niners or seahawks)

I'm guessing that most of the power rankings will be #1 Pats, #2 Cards and #3 Broncos. I'm sure CBS will have us at #1 and some will have us at #3. Also Walterfootball will have us at around #10. This is how I see it going down anyway.

And rightfully so the Pats are playing in a league of their own right now. That's the only team in the NFL that I'm scared for the Cardinals to play. They would have a tough time hanging with the Pats.

I'm honestly okay with anywhere in the top 3 as long as the only teams ahead of us are the Broncos and Pats.

Crisper57's National Power Rankings After Week 9

Well, well, well. We are now halfway through the NFL season and the good teams are starting to separate themselves from the bad teams.

1. Patriots:Brady and Gronk may never lose again.

2. Broncos:Manning is the greatest also-ran to ever play the game.

3. Cardinals:Sure, they beat the Cowboys in Dallas, but they didn't face Tony Romo. Tony Romo is the greatest QB to ever live. Tony Romo is God. You are what your record says you are, but let's face it, the Cardinals have the uncanny ability to catch teams right after the injury bug strikes.

4. Steelers: Now this is a respectable team. Big Ben has thrown 12 TD's in 2 games. Todd Haley is my pick for the hottest HC candidate next year.

5. Cowboys: Sure they are 6-3, but they are 6-1 when Romo plays every snap. They need Romo to come back. I think he will this week in a gimme game against theJags. Then the Bye comes at a great time.

6. Colts:Andrew Luck, take a bow. Yout just cost Tom Coughlin his job.

7. Eagles:Solid win on Houston's soddy field. But prepare to drop like a butt-fumble with Sanchez at the helm.

8. Lions: Healthy coming off a Bye. Ready to go on a run.

9. Packers:Healthy coming off a Bye. Ready to go on a run.

10. Saints:They. Won. On. The. Road. Drew Breeeeeeeees!!!!

Prisco and Kirwan both rank the Cards at #1 on CBS sports. Personally, I would put NE ahead of us due to the Denver games we played, but it's still really cool to see.

Cards are clearly the best NFC team at this moment, and will hopefully continue to get separation. Unlike other "good" NFC teams, the Cards aren't racking up wins against sub-par competition. They are battle-tested.

The wildcard in the NFC is going to be a slug fest.

I don't know who would win on a neutral field between the Pats, Colts, Steelers, and Broncos. The top of the AFC is deep.

Good thing that we are a really really really good home team in the event we play one of them in the Super Bowl.

Side note, if/when we make it to the Super Bowl, do we the allotment of tickets for both hosting and playing in it? That may also be a slight advantage?
