Like every other game Skelton's played in the last couple years at home, I'm thinking he stinks in the first half, the D keeps it tight, he turns it around in the second half and we pull out another opening day squeaker:

Cardinals 20
Seahags 17

The only reason I am picking the Cards is because we are going up vs a rookie QB:

Cards - 10-7

I think that Jay Feeley misses two kicks, but we win anyway. I think Daryl Washington puts an exclamation point on his new contract with a strip-sack in the second quarter. I think that Calais Campbell reminds everyone that he's the best player on the defense by tipping a pass to himself for an INT.

Cards: 21
Seahawks: 13

I'm thinking something like 17-13 either way... since we tend to eek out the close ones at home more often than not, I'll stick with us.

This is almost exactly my thought.

Didn't Newton light us up like a Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree last season in his first game as a pro??

I dunno... the Cards such a rich history in making rookies and previously unheralded players look like Hall of Famers.
Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Wilson move the ball up and down the field, converting key 3rd down after key 3rd down... It's just the Cardinal way.

So, put me down for a 38-35 Cardinal victory... Beanie has a big game, going over the century mark.

35 - 9, not us. I don't normally pick the other way no matter how bad we are but this Oline has squashed my hopes.

That's the same exact score I predicted a few days ago in here. I'm staying with it too. :)
