The Suns play at the Lakers with a reported 7 p.m. Arizona start time. It looks like Steve Nash will be out tonight with a "tingly feeling" as Paul Coro desribes it on twitter.

SG: Goran Dragic

Lakers Projected Starting Lineup

SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Wesley Johnson
PF: Carlos Boozer
C: Jordan Hill

I cannot find the game listed on televsion so I hope to find an internet stream.

Below is an update about the Suns starting lineup from Paul Coro:

Paul CoroVerified account ‏@paulcoro

Tonight's Suns starters are the Morrii, Dragic, Bledsoe, Plumlee. This could stick because of how twins play together & Tucker's suspension.

It's on Time Warner Cable for those of us in enemy territory (So Cal).

You are the lucky one. I will be watching these little characters run across by computer screen. :)

Ed Davis would have brought something different to the table than Anthony Tolliver.

Well, looks like he got to the line a few times after that. Nice way to finish the half IT!

Kobe, a pathetic 1 for 7

IT is doing it.

Regarding the technical foul.

Paul Coro @paulcoro · 10m 10 minutes ago

Thomas was fired up about Lin bumping him on the dribble & pumped his arm after a score. Next trip, he got a technical & yelled, "Wake up!"

Shavlik Randolph making a case for staying on the roster. Earl Barron has been challenging him even though he is not under a guaranteed contract.

IT with a 2 point shot for overtime. Lin has fouled out.

Rapist heated up towards the end, but Isaiah Thomas v.2.0 matched him, and talked trash to Floyd Maywether after the game tying shot.

Two hours before gametime my TV guide said Fox AZ was going to carry the game but at the last minute they switched it to a hockey game. )(@&*^#%!!

Glad to see Randolph had a good game (per the box score)... I hope its enough to save his hide. Shooting 2 for 2 on 3pters is probably the most important stat since the FO is determined to have a PF that can hit from deep.

Why don't you lucky guys that saw the game flesh it out a bit for the rest of us...

I was at the game with my brother (another PHX fan) and had a good time. We couldn't believe it went into overtime, all the Fakers fans were in disbelief when Thomas hit that shot haha

A couple observations:

1. Not much to judge from Goran, Bledsoe, Morris twins, or Tucker. I don't see any improvement, or downgrade from last year.

2. Randolph should make the squad. He had some good defensive stops, a nice move under the basket, and 2 3's.

3. Tolliver is garbage.

4. Green is going to explode off the bench. He is easily becoming my favorite player.

5. Len was practicing before the game with a splint. He looked tired and winded just by taking shots. Not sure if he is game ready yet, even if the finger is healed.

Why didn't we sign Ed Davis instead of Tolliver/Randolph again? Is Davis too physical?

Don't you remember... Memphis didn't make Ed a qualifying offer so he was obviously no good! Tolliver, on the other hand filled our void at stretch 4, never mind that he was a worse rebounder than our previous stretcher - a rare distinction. I really don't know how McD could overlook Davis since he routinely played very well against us.

I think the majority of posters on here are in agreement with McD on the necessity of having a stretch 4 but I just don't see it. Its certainly not the case that stretch 4s have played major roles in successful playoff runs. Pops, for instance, reduced his reliance on them to almost nothing last postseason. (Diaw wasn't on the floor because of his 3 pt shooting even though he did make some key ones.)

I think we absolutely need a stretch four (or five) but we also needed to add inside defense, rebounding and all the other things Tolliver can't provide. I have no idea why we passed on Davis, it meant no sense at the time. I have to believe that there is more to the story because otherwise he should have been an obvious upgrade. Perhaps if we were Memphis fans we'd be more aware of whatever it was that made Davis such a low target not just for us but for the entire league? And IMO Pop did use a stretch big man, his name was Tim Duncan. You don't have to to stand out at the three point line to draw your defender from the lane, Duncan's deep midrange shot was more than enough.

Check out the highlights on nba.com. Dragic had a beautiful spinning move between two defenders. Also IT3 was cold blooded.

http://www.nba.com/games/20141021/P...f:nba:homepage:gametracker:tacobell:livestate

No love for Eric? Bledsoe started out cold but he did add 11 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks and 1 steal in just 21:33. He had a couple of turnovers but he finished .500 from the field making his only 3 point attempt and both free throws. I think he's going to be a fantasy dream this season if he stays healthy.
